Feelings do not ask anyone when and in what quantity they appear, whether they are right or wrong, whether they can be or not. It does not happen that there are no feelings, more often than not we do not notice them, or they are simply not the ones that we would like to experience.
Feelings are stopped actions. Have you noticed that it is worth stopping running somewhere, stopping doing and doing a bunch of meaningless actions (well, of course, we usually endow them with meaning, but in general 90 out of 100 cases are vanity of vanities), then feelings immediately appear? Often, anxiety, anxiety, fear, resentment or guilt can creep in, less often - joy, inspiration or pleasure.
Feelings are always primary. It is they who are an indicator of whether we are going in the right direction, or whether it is worth correcting something. There are no good or bad feelings. You cannot blame yourself for not depending on us. And the feeling that comes is spontaneous, it does not depend on us and is only an indicator - that something needs to be changed. If this is an unpleasant feeling. Well, for example, anxiety, guilt, shame, fear, irritation, anger, resentment. And sometimes you don't have to do anything with them. To begin with, it is enough to understand what exactly we feel and what it is connected with.
But if you suppress feelings all the time, then sooner or later they will manifest themselves as an affect. For example, regularly appearing anger (which is an indicator that we don’t like something in the current situation or in the current state of affairs) will sooner or later develop into aggression or rage - then we usually explode and destroy everything around us - relationships, feelings, love, and sometimes the house in which we live. Guilt and resentment usually destroy us from the inside, our spontaneity and our ability to be who we are, to manifest ourselves the way WE want it, and not the way our loved ones demand from us (who often endow us with these feelings to make it easier to manipulate, no, they do it unconsciously, but they are already accustomed to the fact that everything goes as they need … but more on that another time).
But no matter what feelings capture us, no matter what feelings guide us at the moment, we always have a choice - either to follow them, as we are used to doing it always, or to realize the situation, see it from the outside and change it by at least one thousandth his usual course of action, and this, sooner or later, will change the whole system and his whole life. The main thing is to understand exactly whether it is necessary. And what kind of changes we would like.
