Fairy tale "Love"

It was quiet in the forest, but a nocturnal bird, sitting on a branch of an old spruce, was alarmed with a presentiment of a miracle in an unusually loud voice. A light breeze blew, gently swaying the crowns of the coniferous-deciduous forest. The trees were already sleeping when starlight fell from the sky onto the leaves of the young fern, splitting into two large drops of an unknown luminous substance. The drops trembled on the dark green leaves and, reflected in each other, turned into two unearthly creatures. He and She are beautiful, fragile Elves with translucent wings. He looked directly into her sky-blue eyes and Her tiny heart beat in her chest like a bird in a cage, anticipating freedom and wanting to escape from captivity.

- LOVE, - cried a night bird in the crown of a larch. He stretched out his palms to her and She made a counter movement towards him. It remains to overcome only a centimeter, so that their bodies are united in a dance of love, but suddenly a gust of wind came and separated their souls, taking the little Elves to different sides of the forest. She flew in the sky, remembering his slanting brown eyes and cried. She could not resist the wind with the strength of a little elf and only obediently folded her wings, surrendering to the will of fate.

He flew in the opposite direction and tears of separation rolled down his cheeks in small pearls. But He did not humble himself. His heart burned with love for her and he swore to the god of the night sky that he would find her.

He wandered through the woods for a long time. It has flown halfway around the world. But he never met her. He recognized her in strangers, attributing her features to them and even fell in love with them for a while, but then he was disappointed and again went in search of his beloved.

5 years later.

The pain of separation and despair sounded more muted in his heart, but never subsided.

"LOVE", - the night bird was still screaming in his dreams, not letting him forget the one that was the lost part of himself. Sadness settled in his brown slanting eyes.

Once, together with a friend, a gray spider on thin legs, they played their boyish games in a strawberry meadow, jumping from berry to berry and competing in speed and dexterity. At some point, the Elf lost sight of his friend, but when he looked around, he saw on a nearby strawberry bush the one he had lost once. The spider tenaciously held her palms in his paws and hastily confessed his love to her, bowing to her and swinging on his thin legs. Its soft, fat back now and then heaved over its paws, then suddenly landed, pressing its belly against a strawberry leaf. He spun his webs, bewitching her with his spell. She seemed to be confused by loneliness, like a child. She held out her thin arms to the spider and he quickly wrapped her in his deadly embrace..

The heart of the Elf was pierced by the pain of despair, mixed with the joy of meeting and jealousy. The spider was his best friend and more than once they helped each other out in dangerous situations.

"What to do? Give your beloved spider and sacrifice Love? Or kill the spider and destroy the devoted Friendship?" - the choice was not easy for the Elf.

And She seemed to be carried away by flirting and still did not notice him. And because of this, the wrong decision was ripening in his soul. He dared to come up and quietly say hello to her. She turned her heavenly eyes to him and recognized her beloved. Her heart fluttered in her chest again, but her hand was tightly gripped by a spider's paw.

"LOVE!", - the night bird cried again, flying over their heads, but at the same moment with one jump the figure of a spider divided their translucent bodies, standing between Him and Her.

“She's mine,” the spider hissed to a friend and dragged her into his burrow. The elf was ready to give his life for her, but he did not want to kill his friend. He decided to take time to think and retired deep into the forest to make the most important decision in his life.

Meanwhile, the spider entangled her with its nets and left her bound alone without light or water in a dark hole. She lowered her wings and was very depressed. She thought only of her beloved and called him in her dreams and prayers. She did not even hope that he would forgive her for her betrayal. But he forgave her because he sincerely loved and understood all the sounds of her soul.

Meanwhile, the spider was having fun with the spiders, weaving new webs, but did not let her go out of his hole.

The elf saw all the lies of his friend and then He decided to go for a desperate act. He did not want to kill the spider, as his heart was noble and pure.

One night, when the spider, having drunk drunken dandelion nectar, was having fun with his friends, the Elf made his way into his hole. His wings and palms, pierced with moonlight, illuminated the cramped earthen burrow, where his beloved languished, entangled in a silver thread of cobwebs. Without saying a word, He pressed to her lips, for the first time feeling the taste of her kiss, the floral scent of her silk hair, and the warmth of her fragile body.

“You are mine, only mine,” he whispered to her, freeing her from her bonds and covering her hands and feet with passionate kisses. She responded to his feelings with every cell of her being. Hand in hand, they came to the surface.

- LOVE, - the night bird suddenly cried, rustling its wing over their heads. And from a light gust of wind they, as for the first time, found themselves on a wide leaf of a young fern. Permeated with the starlight from which their bodies were woven, they gazed into each other's eyes. Happiness overwhelmed their souls. This time there were no obstacles between them.

“Tell me your name,” she said in a trickling voice.

- My name is Son of the Moon.

She smiled at him with her magical smile, in which he read without words everything that she wanted to say to him, but from an excess of feelings she could not.

As soon as they pronounced their names, a gust of wind blew up again and the two luminous substances combined into one. This time, the wind lifted a drop of starlight and carried it into the sky in the direction of the Mizar star from the constellation Ursa Major. There was their home among the Elves like them - pure and bright, kind and devoted, loving and whole.

On Earth, they had nothing else to do.

They lived happily ever after in heaven and every day they prayed to God for those who remained on earth: for a spider, a night bird, a young fern, the wind and a strawberry meadow, and for LOVE.
