Many different stories, many expectant mothers and their feelings. And all for the sake of giving birth to a new life, which they will shine all their time.
The appearance of a child in the family is a project without holidays and days off, with irregular working hours, and a long-term perspective, for many years. Throughout this time, it is necessary to be in good shape and on guard for safety.
The stories of women who are attending the antenatal clinic are very different. For some, this period is filled with joy and happiness, participation in the life of relatives and friends, a more attentive attitude from the spouse. There are those who, during this period, are faced with problems that they would not have known about, if not for pregnancy - loneliness, despair, sadness, hopelessness. For some, a planned and long-awaited pregnancy, who has many IVF attempts and tears at night, who has an unexpected turn in life. How many women, so many stories: joyful and sad, sad and touching.
There are no universal words that can be said during this period, congratulations or words of support. You will never guess what emotions a woman has more during this period, what reaction and actions she wants.
But there are a couple of exercises that can give strength to go through this life stage, give a resource for staying in this "filled" state.
Exercise "Mandala"
Mandala is a circle, with clear boundaries, is a symbol of the mother's womb. Take an A4 sheet format, but if you don't have it at hand, you can draw in a notebook. Imagine an event that is filled with a sense of peace and confidence for you, when you draw this emotional state is reflected in a circle, and you are filled with this energy. After completing the exercise, a good mood is assured.
Exercise "A letter to a future baby."
Make yourself comfortable in a place convenient for you. Take any sheet. Listen to yourself. Think about your unborn child. What do you want to tell him? Try to describe it to yourself. Tell him about your feelings, feelings, about the world he will come to. Describe it in your letter. About what your relationship will be like, what it will be filled with. Take your time, think about what you can tell your child. Let this letter be your support if it becomes difficult or sad.
