How To Stop Suffering?

Or about how a giraffe went on vacation to warm countries in his old but neat Volkswagen minibus

“How good is it

from the fact that I feel bad now, because it's still at least somehow, but not at all …"

Each person is always bad from only one thing - from what is not now. A person does not feel peace, he suffers only for this reason: something is not there now. A person would really like something, but this is not.

Think about it!

Think about it, just well, scrupulously - it's useful.

If you thought about it very well, you might be surprised to find that it is simply impossible to do or undertake anything with what is not now. How impossible it is to brew coffee from beans that do not exist, in a Turk that does not exist, on a fire that does not exist. It is simply impossible. And there is no metaphysics in this. It is very simple, banal, quite vital, understandable and entirely utilitarian. That is why it is absolutely certain to suffer from something that does not exist now - even if it is still speculative for you, but it is not possible. As well as to rejoice at what is not now.

Now you understand this.

But how, then, is it possible that a person still suffers?

What is this paradox? How does this happen?

This is truly a paradox. An amazing paradox. Inexplicable, wonderful in its inexplicability. A paradox that cannot be solved in any way.

The paradox for this is the paradox that the instrument of logic cannot touch it in any way - it cannot be dissected. You can make a riddle with logic. Or you can find a clue. But it is in no way possible to touch something real with logic.

And all the present is definitely nothing more than a paradox. Which cannot be solved. But you can still taste it.

And for this it is necessary to observe the paradox - to perceive the paradox itself. This is how the knowledge of the paradox takes place.

It is necessary to become very attentive and sensitive to what is happening to you. It is necessary to delve into how something is happening to you, which is absolutely impossible.

Indeed, right now, in all seriousness, I affirm that it is impossible to suffer

And it may seem to you that I have lost my mind. And to some extent this will be true. But definitely not complete. Or it may seem to you that I am joking or shocking - and this, for sure, partly also may look true. Only not complete either. You may even be angry with me: how dare I argue about the unreality of what for billions of people, in varying degrees of intensity, is an everyday reality?

Someone here: either billions or one - seems to be mistaken. But no scales can withstand such a weighing. So what if I told you that neither side is wrong?

Suffering can be your truth, your reality. So the absolute absence of this can be your objective reality.

And now you only have a few options:

- believe in this statement at my word and in the same way agree with it in words;

- to challenge this within yourself, that is, to disagree, and to remain in your rightness, confirmed by your own personal experience;

- or to doubt your experience and sensation and to admit in all seriousness a tiny statement, which has not yet been fueled by experience for you - the statement that "it is impossible to suffer" and not just let in, but it is curious to be with it.

Take your pick!
