Thinking out loud
There was a time when I naively thought that children "once" were treated better than they are now. Then, taking a little interest in the question, and feeling some movement of the hair on my body (from horror), I decided that it was very cool, and in general I was lucky to be born in this era, and not in any previous one.
Humanity began with the fact that children were calmly killed and ate, then they were abandoned, given to be "raised" by nurses and tutors, they were regularly beaten from birth, later they were emotionally mocked, and more recently children were finally recognized as people. Not "under-grown" people, but quite such whole people - children.
I think I imagine this thought, I think calmly. and then I come across a selection of quotes (somewhere in social networks) from the category "Juliet's mother was 28", "old man Karamzin came in 30 years old", "old Richelieu was 42 years old" … and so on. I look around and see a completely different picture: young 35-year-old people live their lives cheerfully (yes, not all, but there are many) and somehow they do not plan to die in the near future.
Then I sit down and wonder: here we have a kind of "polluted" air and the water is somehow worse, and they drink, and food is questionable (questions like "what are we eating ?!"), well, in general, not from the garden … And somehow all active people often sleep a little, but work a lot. But they look very even!
It is unlikely that Richelieu plowed in as much: night, and all - bainki. Surely he drank only good wine, and ate food from the garden.
Why are they all of a sudden at 40 - and old people, and we have here 40 - and quite a pretty cheerful person? Should I somehow connect these two thoughts (from the first and second paragraphs): child abuse (as a norm) and early aging / sickness / dying?
I went to thinking people “how, they say, do you think, why are people living longer and looking better?”: They say, they say, it’s clear, everything is medicine! You can't argue with that. But this is more about the fact that they stopped dying from a number of diseases quickly. They began to die more slowly. I do not take into account any cosmetic tricks: we are talking about the natural feeling of "cheerfulness".
Another version is education. This is more interesting. The population has become more educated and, in general, has somehow become better in the world and wanted to live longer in it. Yes. But something was missing, children were recalled … Eureka!
My version of the development of events (not challenging the above): our state (physical health and feelings of youth), first of all, is influenced by upbringing. Yes, the parents of their children.
Set aside to throw tomatoes. Let me explain now. By the way, I do not pretend to be true.
I explain, then.
Raising a child is, in essence, teaching him how to do without an adult.
Well, okay, the child would like the same, and strive to learn it - it would be half the trouble. So no. In general, he wants to splash his energy anywhere, live and enjoy. And a healthy child wants this whenever he is awake.
And an adult, until this happy moment, who lived his adult life calmly for himself, suddenly needs to give up everything and look after this energy, direct it into a healthy channel, teach the child to handle it, and at the same time withstand a lot of child's discontent and protests.
In this case, the child must be loved, understood, respected, etc. And by the way, no one will say "thank you". Nightmare. In general, for an ordinary citizen who was brought up, say, with a belt (mostly), it is difficult, incomprehensible and broke. And what is he doing with this childish seething energy? That's right, he stops her.
I will not list the methods, everyone was brought up, everyone is in the know.
Children begin to adapt in order to survive. And they begin to “discharge” part of the energy on themselves. Yes, this is also about restraining the response, actions, feelings, "bad" thoughts, in the end …
Attention. Here it is - the main hypothesis
I suppose that depending on the type of punishment and in accordance with his genetic predisposition, the stopped child “discharges” energy in such a way that he “hits” himself on certain organs, laying the foundation for those diseases that he will start to get sick with when youth will end (that is, the time of active reproduction).
And the more severely the child's activity was suppressed, the more fatal then the adult's illness (in the sense - a disease-quickly-killing) will be.
Yeah. Cuff - as a way of transmitting hereditary diseases from generation to generation.
In fact, the way in which the child “killed” his energy gives him a way in which he will begin to “kill” himself after 30-35-40 years. At this age, he turns for himself into the same parent as his real parent was for him, and he treats himself and his emotions just as mercilessly. And, of course, now he will bring this matter to a "successful" end.
Total. Changing approaches to raising children, a different attitude towards them, perhaps, is one of the most important factors in increasing life expectancy, a sense of one's own youth and a guarantee of health!
The way out (for those who were unlucky with the "educators") is psychotherapy. IMHO. Perhaps there is more.
I don't know the statistics. There will be no quotes. Yes, perhaps, this has already been written, but I am not aware / forgot / inattentively read. No, not a scientific article. Yes, of course, there are diseases that are only due to genetics. No, I'm not a doctor.
Thank you for your attention!
