Touching upon the topic of psychology and everything that follows from it, I will briefly dwell on the basic concepts associated with the terrible word "PSYHO". There are several specialists working in the field of the mental sphere (from ancient Greek ψυχή - "soul")

1. Psychologist Is a specialist who received a liberal arts education at a university with a degree in psychology. A psychologist specializes in the study of personality, all its phenomena, states, processes that occur normally. A psychologist can be engaged in counseling, diagnostics, testing, prof. orientation. A psychologist, of course, can also treat people, be conditionally a "psychotherapist", but only within the framework of the established specialization and mainly consult healthy people.

2. Psychiatrist on the contrary, he always treats only pathology, makes serious diagnoses, such as "Schizophrenia", "Organic brain disorder", "Psychopathy", "Clinical depression" and others. A psychiatrist is, first of all, a doctor. He always walks in a white coat, communicates with patients sitting at the table, makes a stern and at the same time intelligent expression on his face, prescribes a mountain of pills. Relationships "psychiatrist - patient" always have subordination and hierarchy.

3. Psychotherapist combines an understanding of a normally organized psyche, knows the pathology (just in case), can make a diagnosis (but only for the purpose of choosing a more effective treatment) and in critical cases adds a pill to therapy. And he can also heal with psychological methods, mental conversations, providing support, understanding, assistance in solving difficult psychological situations and crises. A psychotherapist is also a doctor who has a higher medical education, specialization in psychiatry and psychotherapy, as well as a number of cycles and improvement courses in various methods. But he never walks in a white coat or talks to patients across the table. With a psychotherapist, you can talk about problems on a comfortable sofa or armchair, with a cup of tea, feeling comfortable and secure.

4. Psychoanalyst, probably in this four will be the most mysterious character. It can be both a psychologist and a psychiatrist with a psychotherapist. And there are specialists who combine these 3-4 specializations at once. Because the psychoanalyst is usually the end point in defining the professional activity of a specialist. Although this specialty is humanitarian, like psychology, its difference is that psychoanalysis works both with norm and with pathology. Psychoanalysis is always deep and meaningful. Psychoanalytic therapy has more often revealing motives than supportive, investing, or “solving problems quickly, clearly and according to an algorithm”.

In any case, speaking about people, their problems and life in general, we can say that there is always a way out. The most important thing is to start looking for it now, to learn to understand yourself. I usually like to say: "There are so many people in the world - there are so many reasons for contacting a psychotherapist." But, unfortunately, so far in our country and in our city in particular, people are not used to considering mental health as health in general. And it seems like nothing physically hurts, and it seems like you can put it off until later, endure it or chat with a girlfriend. Or even worse, start drinking alcohol or some pills that were shown on TV … prescribing them yourself, without going to a doctor. Can. Nobody forbids. But the effect will not be long, insignificant or even harmful.

I really respect people who treat their souls with understanding, feel when it starts to hurt and make the right decision. People's questions and problems can be completely different, but they are all very important and relevant for each person in their own way. And it's interesting to see how people transform into therapy over time. They become the clearest example of amazing metamorphoses, and are already expressing heartfelt phrases, starting to look with burning eyes and glowing with a radiant smile! They are happy to note the appearance of spiritual harmony, find the strength and desire to live their own lives, not afraid of changes and not looking back at the opinions of others.

I truly believe in all my patients. And I am happy that I can help them walk this path to themselves, teach them to live in harmony with themselves and the world, to be able to hear and listen to themselves, to reveal their true destiny.
