It so happens that a person "sticks" in unpredictable situations and falls into a non-resource state. And then, when it is important to act and make a conscious decision, one of the basic animal instincts simply turns on: hit, run, freeze.
Do you want to learn how to quickly and effectively adapt, consciously change your attitude to the situation and be in a resourceful state?
Then this technique is for you.
It is worth noting that this is not a "magic pill" that you just drank and that's it. This is a skill, and a skill, like any other new behavior, should be reinforced in practice. If you devote only 3-5 minutes a day, then in a month you will notice how masterly you can use this technique, become more conscious and easily adapt to seemingly difficult situations.
The purpose of the technique is to master the skill of instant adaptation in unpredictable situations.
To master a skill, first of all, you should learn how to track:
- images that arise in our head;
- internal dialogue (what do you say about yourself, what thoughts come to your mind now);
- emotional condition;
- breathing;
- voice (timbre and speed of speech);
- posture (position of the torso, head, arms and legs);
- gestures (movement of arms, legs, head);
- gait.
Everything elementary is simple.
To realize what state you are in, it is enough to ask yourself just one question: "WHAT AM I DOING NOW?"
Despite its simplicity, this is a very resourceful question that returns to us awareness, helps us to understand the current state and gives a chance to make the right decision.
STEPS OF INSTANT ADAPTATION TECHNIQUE IN AN UNPREDICTABLE SITUATION
The development of a new skill is usually done on simulators, so here too, to begin with, we will create a model of the situation and mark the space for different states:
How to instantly adapt in an unpredictable situation:
- non-resource state (state "X");
- the state "here and now";
- resource state (opposite to state "X").
You can mark with any item, such as sheets of paper, felt-tip pens or chairs.
Step 0. Internal state
Ask yourself the question "what am I doing now", pause and observe your condition:
- what you feel in the body;
- what emotions are you experiencing;
- watch your thoughts;
- remember this state.
Step 1. Tracking non-resource state
Select the point "X" in space - NOT a RESOURCE state in a negative situation that you want to change:
- move to this position;
- remember those events in your life when you experienced it;
- remember with all the details, as if you are experiencing it anew, what you feel in the body, what images you see, maybe there are some sounds or other sensations …
Step 2. The "here and now" state:
- enter the position "here and now";
- switch (think about anything good, jump);
- ask yourself the question "what am I doing now";
- observe your condition;
- what are you when you are here and now?
Step 3. Solution:
- make a decision to enter the resource state;
- mentally say to yourself, "I am ready", "I will now enter the resource state opposite to the state" X "";
- turn off internal dialogue (for example, try to hear 4 different sounds at the same time, just listen, without analysis and interpretation);
- feel your new breath, just watch how it appears;
- concentrate on this new breath.
Step 4. New, resource state:
- go to the position "resource state, opposite to the state" X ";
- remember those events and situations in your life when you felt such a breath;
- what are these events?
- what resources did you receive from your unconscious then?
- feel them, immerse yourself in the flow of these resources, breathe …
- where and how do you feel them in your body? Maybe it's warmth or a feeling of strength or energy;
- experience this state and strengthen it, add colors, energy and strength;
- give a metaphor for this state;
- adopt this skill.
Step 5. Verification:
- How do you feel about that situation "X" now?
- are there still doubts?
- if yes, repeat from step "0".
Step 6. Adjusting to the future:
- now imagine yourself with this skill in the future in different contexts;
how prepared are you for these situations?
- what will change when you have all these resources in those situations when they are needed?
In this way, you can work through all negative and non-resource states. And when you work out the technique several times, you will be able to notice that you are already doing it easily just in your imagination, and the next stage, when you find yourself in a non-resource state, you can simply remember the steps of this technique and instantly go into a resource state.
Develop an awareness of your unique signals, signals from the unconscious.
Become more effective, observe yourself, identify key success factors, notice signals from your unconscious and become even more successful in life and business.
