In life, what matters for us is who and how others see us. Some people build their relationship to themselves on this very thing. However, they are wrong. Nobody knows you better than yourself. And the question "Who are you, for yourself?" can help in the process of getting to know oneself more closely. After all, the better we know ourselves, the more ways we have to achieve some results.
Confusion often arises between the process of identifying one's own self (who am I?) And performing various social roles. After all, you must admit that such a question is most often followed by answers describing these roles. People say: "I am a top manager, teacher, doctor, businessman", sometimes there is a shift and people, answering such a question, list not professional, but everyday social roles "I am a husband (wife) father (mother), etc." …
Of course, we perform these roles throughout life, since this is required of us by society, and only in society. Imagine a situation when you find yourself in some tribe on the shores of the Amazon. How do you think your self-determination - a candidate of sciences or a tourist - will be able to explain to the natives who you are? Of course not. And accordingly, there is a risk that the natives who filled you will consider you dangerous and simply kill (and possibly eat). For them, what's inside you is much more important, not the organs), but those skill skills that you can use to your advantage in any situation.
The question "Who am I?" will always be one of the most difficult for a person. However, it is the answer to it that allows you to more accurately deal with your claims and real desires. After all, if you answer it like this: “I am a person who can find a way and cope with difficulties,” then your consciousness will be reformatted in this way. After training, you naturally begin to find solutions that allow you to get what you want.
If your sincere answer to this question is something like this: “I am a person who is afraid to make a mistake and worries about it,” then this is not fatal. This answer is even helpful to you. Because now you know for sure that it is very useful for you to pump your self-confidence skills. And in case you have problems with work or salary. If you are thinking of changing the company, then perhaps by improving your self-confidence and trust skills, you will be able to achieve promotion in this particular organization. At the same time, you save time and your inner strength, which would be spent looking for a new job.
The answer to the question "Who am I?" allows you not only to understand where you may have unsolved problems, but also to see those resources that you did not notice before. The more we get to know ourselves, the easier it is for us to make choices in situations that matter.
