Body image (diagnosed by performing a series of drawing tests): short and wide, reminiscent of a "ball" (oral need to be filled). At the same time, the head is small (impulsivity, lack of self-control, awareness). Small feet (basic problem with support, inability to lean on oneself, need to lean on others). The mouth is large (deprived oral needs tend to be satisfied).

Real Body: Oral trauma is varied, hence the variability of the oral type. Nevertheless, let's try to highlight common features: lack of weight (unnatural thinness) or overabundance (obvious fullness, evenly distributed over the body).

Oral fixation: constant movements of the mouth, biting or sucking, touching the mouth area. The hands are tense like a "bird's paw", the fingers seem to want to squeeze something (a baby clinging to an adult's hand).

The abdomen is not tight, but on palpation it is soft, as if empty. The legs are never perceived as a stable support for the body. In a situation of tension, the legs quickly get tired. Control over their movements is inadequate and coordination is poor. The oral character tries to compensate for the weakness of the legs by tightening the knees. At the same time, the legs lose flexibility and become rigid. The feet and arches are often weakened. Due to the weakness of the lower limbs, such people have no contact with the ground.

The muscular system in a person with an oral structure of character is underdeveloped in comparison with the volume of the body. This defect in physical development is typically oral. For comparison, we can say that the muscles in a person with a schizoid character are usually hypertrophied, and the state of the masochist's musculature is best described by the expression "muscle stiffness."

It goes without saying that genital function is impaired in a person with an oral character. Orality and sexuality are opposite tendencies, since the first is associated with charge, and the second with discharge. For the sexual attraction of a person with an oral character, the main thing is contact with a partner, discharge is of an auxiliary nature. It expresses the need to receive, feed from a partner; that is, the genitals serve the oral need. Genital discharge is weak in both men and women. In women, orgasm is usually absent. But this is by no means frigidity. There is simply no active motor impulse aimed at voltage discharge.

In a person with an oral character structure, the body weight falls on the heels, while normally the metatarsal bones, between the arch of the foot and the heel. A person with an oral nature tends to lean backward. The shoulders are abducted, and this is compensated by tilting the head forward. Forward movement starts from the head, and in a natural posture - from the ground. The body of a healthy individual rests on the legs, which retain plasticity in the knee joint.

All psychological and biological manifestations of an oral nature have something in common. From a bioenergetic point of view, the oral character is an undercharged organism; it looks like an empty bag. There is enough energy to support vital functions, but not enough to fully charge the muscular system.

The limbs, head and genitals are not sufficiently charged. The skin is thin and reacts easily to bruises. Why can't the oral nature energize itself? After all, it exists in the environment in the form of food, oxygen, pleasure from love and work. The answer is obvious. The structure of character is generated by the immobilization (immobility) of aggression. If the body is afraid or cannot reach out and take, then everything that exists outside becomes useless. But the oral character has needs that must be met. He treats them infantile, that is, he demands that the external adult world understand his needs and satisfy them without any effort on his part. The back reflects the weakness of aggressive movements. It is thanks to her that you can notice the fatigue localized in the lumbar region that such people experience. It can be said that a person with an oral character does not feel his spine; these are the people who are called "spineless." Stickiness and clinginess are the adult equivalent of baby sucking and wanting to be cared for. Weakness in the arms and legs also indicates an infantile structure.

Excessive appetite can be interpreted as an attempt to fill oneself. Impatience and anxiety are the result of unsatisfied desire. Unsurprisingly, the oral nature is sometimes hostile and angry. However, he expresses hostility in a voice, and only in rare cases does it manifest physically. The inability to reach out to the world leads to terrible loneliness; many adults who hope that their desires will be understood and satisfied without their participation are inevitably disappointed. You can understand the failures that lie in wait for this type of character in adolescence and adulthood.

The reason for the formation. Oral deprivation: impairment of care during infancy.

Psychological picture. Strives to establish a good symbiosis: contact-merger, in which his needs will be ideally satisfied. Does not tolerate frustration of needs (gets angry, refuses, insists on his own). There cannot be one. Constantly seeking care or taking care of others in a compensatory manner. Often finds himself in an emotionally dependent destructive relationship (marriage with an alcoholic, etc.). Chooses a profession related to contact with people (doctor, psychologist, educator, guide).
