The level of anxiety decreases, but instead comes self-accusation, guilt, shame: “Why did I get drunk for the night!”, “I ate a loaf again …” and the like. Guilt increases the anxiety, the woman feels the folds on her sides with horror, which only increases the anxiety. A vicious circle arises.
How to get out of it? What to do in such a situation? To work with the root of the problem - anxiety, or rather, even the fear that lies behind the anxiety. What worries, worries really? What fear do you want to push away from yourself, to seize, to anesthetize?
There can be many reasons for such anxiety. Often it is the need to make some important decision - to get divorced or stay in this toxic relationship, change jobs or not. Anxiety can increase against the background of age crises, growing up of children, death and illness of loved ones.
Yes, the causes of obesity and excess weight are not necessarily only psychological. And it is not necessarily the seizure of anxiety that is behind this problem. The reasons can be somatic, associated with various diseases, pregnancy and childbirth, and many other factors.
However, seizing anxiety is one of the most common causes of excess weight. And working out your anxious states with a psychologist is a way to not only improve your state of mind, gain calmness and self-confidence, but also a way to normalize your weight, gain a beautiful figure.
