Everyone gets into a situation of lack of motivation. This may be due to the fact that it is difficult for you to understand yourself, it is difficult to relate positively to yourself, or, for example, a lot of things have objectively piled on you lately. Or for many other reasons.

And so today I propose to deal with the motivator, which creates a certain gap in the procrastination system, which you can fill with your actions.

It is no secret that among procrastinators there are many who do not dare to start doing something precisely because they want (or need) to do a particular job quite well. Or successfully. Or great. Or even great and perfect. In this case, two factors simultaneously press on you - the energy of the business itself and the energy of your internal requirements for yourself. And in this case, your stress and dissatisfaction with yourself due to motivational downtime turns out to be paradoxically less than the stress from the quality performance of an important task.

It is in such cases that you can actively use the motivation "tyap-blooper". As the name suggests, such a motivator involves:

BUT) Internal permission to get things done somehow … I.e. You frankly declare to yourself that you can cheat, do things carelessly, you can drag out the matter, you can delegate the matter to someone (and even a not too competent comrade). And you can also spend only 10-20% of your opportunities, you can generally think all the time (in parallel) about the upcoming vacation in a pleasant place. That is, you are trying to put into practice the principle “better somehow than nothing”.

B) Refusal of self-criticism for how the matter will be carried out … Allowing yourself to mess up can be tricky. If only because the presence in your life of the conflict “I want to do well, but doing well is a lot of stress” already suggests that your need for approval is far from fully realized (otherwise why would you do something well?) … And such a need always revolts against all sorts of "tyap-bloopers". Therefore, it is important in this situation to solemnly promise yourself (directly in words, directly out loud) that regardless of the outcome of the current case, you will treat yourself positively.

C) Optional - reassuring oneself that later on, one can improve one's “tyap-blooper” to some normal quality … After all, it also happens that you decide to give up self-criticism, and the inner worm of perfectionism gnaws at you from the inside. In this case, you can bargain with yourself from the position “I can always upgrade my business”. In extreme cases, you can even promise yourself to do the job again, when you have a lot of strength and motivation (if you need it at all, because it can "ride" and so on).

Actually, that's all. You can try.
