New day is sliced like birthday cake
It's a pity, the piece goes by the mouth all the time.
Every comment that I'm not the same
Doesn't change the fact that you are still the same.
Everything is also beautiful, my love!
How many likes we have with you!
Bi-2 - "Likes"
Social demonstration is becoming a new standard of life, and understanding - private life is completely outdated. Fashion, trends dictate to be always in sight. There is no secret. The need to share your life becomes paramount.
We consume, we create, we share any information. Of course, we are all social, and we all have an urge to get noticed. To increase the number of friends and, perhaps, refer to a network group, now this is becoming a criterion for coolness, self-confidence and specific psychological protection.
Social networks have long become tribunes for self-expression and professional implementation. New acquaintances, interest groups, free demonstration of your personal successes - social networks create the feeling that you are not alone.
At the same time, social networks are changing our psychology, making us think about some of the problems that arise in the current changes.
Happiness loves silence
The secret of personal life, family, children, people have always guarded their lives from envy and the evil eye, believing that envy is a strong psychological weapon that must be protected from.
But what about now, we are no longer afraid of the evil eye and damage?
The need to take part in the demonstration of their best things, events has become much stronger than the need to defend against envy. The threat does not come from the fact that people will envy you much more "seriously", that they, in principle, may not notice you, not learn about your events and not envy you. Social networks are becoming a world in which people, through collective jealousy and rivalry, stimulate themselves to achieve.
Different realities
People post about victories, talk about their successes, consider themselves experts in any matter. The main thing is to give your "expert" knowledge in a timely manner.
For many, real life and life on social networks are not very similar to each other, a person can suffer a lot - and at the same moment upload life-affirming photos where he was not very good. People quietly exist in parallel. Truth is secondary, important is an illusion.
Looking through his profile, a person himself begins to believe in him, to believe in the illusion that he creates.
This has both positive and negative consequences. On the one hand, a person can actually start working on himself, change his lifestyle in order to adapt it to his social lifestyle and feel better.
But there can also be a substitution of realities when the problems of an imperfect life are not realized. Which can lead to an internal crisis or depression.
Information about your emotions and feelings online is like therapy
The social media engine is built on social rating in the form of likes and comments. The public expression of joy, anger, resentment, love helps to find emotional balance and gain support.
Getting a like (approval) is a significant motivator for users. The more "approvals", the more emotional support. And support in our time is like a piece of gold.
Getting positive support is not only pleasant, but also beneficial, as it increases self-esteem. If responses are received regularly, the person feels the need for such confirmation of himself constantly. But the need to assert itself can develop into addiction over time.
Why do we only tell good things
Usually we want to share only positive events from our lives, turning life into an exemplary picture, a life instruction for others. When a person sees around everyone happy and self-realized, his self-esteem can plummet. Therefore, a person begins to imitate the actions of others and demonstrate himself only from the best sides of life. Thus, a person adapts to society and tries to comply with its norms.
The new reality leads to certain emotional changes: there is no fear, no shame, no shyness, everything that was once intimately accepted to be made public and demonstrated…. People share their problems, emotions, demonstrating themselves from different sides. At the same time, an easy way to sources of support opens up - you can "pour out your soul" about your misfortunes on social networks - and they will definitely regret you, "comment on the enemy" and advise something useful. In real life, the same action will take a week, but on social media, the whole process can take several hours.
