Everything falls out of hand - yelling at home, hissing at employees, eyelid twitching when you look at the authorities? Perhaps you just need to sleep and rest for a day or two. Or maybe it went further, and you have a real neurosis

Neurosis is such a thing when the body has no strength left. From the word at all. So much so that you break somewhere inside, but at the same time for some reason continue to move, like a very heroic dancer on a broken leg. Usually one symptom is not enough, but a few from our list are already enough to worry. And no, this is not a case where “I'll think about it tomorrow” is a good idea.

1. Irritability

There are days when a person is annoyed by everything. There are some really serious reasons for irritation. But when literally any action or circumstance becomes the reason, and the days of bad mood follow one after another, this is already a very bad call. And yes, if, for example, you are in a zone of military conflict - that is, bad days really go on and the reasons for anger are objectively such, this does not mean that you have no neurosis. On the contrary, you have very favorable conditions for its appearance.

2. Weirdness with appetite

It can disappear altogether, but more often, unfortunately, the freaks just begin. Suddenly you catch yourself not being able to eat sausages, white bread and green peas at all, or even certain types of foods - for example, fatty or hard ones. Another option - you suddenly discover that you eat all the time and, moreover, literally everything. They say that especially often people with depression and neuroses are drawn to sweets. Started eating chocolates? Alarm bell.

3. Sleep disturbances

Now you crawl all day like a sleepy fly, then you count sheep and camels to infinity, but sleep does not go and does not go. And if you come, then you plunge into it for a few minutes, half wake up and dive again. But very shallow. And you get up not just sleepy, but with a strange tremor or weakness in your arms and legs.

4. Cruel spleen

Or, in other words, blues. Not just longing, but green longing. Sickly, stuffy, every movement, every deed - through I can’t. Very similar to depression, but nevertheless, it is not. During depression, the blues are not terrifying, but during neurosis, I really want to do something with it in order to somehow, finally, cheer up. Or so that everything around it cheers up. Ooh-ooh, heat.

5. Sudden tearfulness

You have never been a whiner. And then suddenly I saw a kitty near the road and sobbed: she must have been hit by a car. Was the kitty scared, got up and ran away from you? Never mind, you will find a bird, also extremely unhappy. And spilled tea is very sad, the picture on the fridge is touching to tears, the cupboard is so lonely - to hug and cry. In especially neglected cases, you will deliberately look for nagging films and touching books to justify a burning desire to cry with the height of art.

6. Instant fatigue

I haven’t started working yet, but I’m already tired. And if she started, she was tired almost immediately to death. Tires everything. Even what you are offered to do to distract yourself and relax. Perhaps you are especially tired of such activities. Don't even hope, it's not just laziness. Pulling yourself together won't help. You and so go all in hand taken, there is no time further. Do you feel it? It's just that the right little girl inside of you says in a stern voice that you feel wrong. But she's not always right.

7. Strange anxiety

Feelings and fears haunt you. Moreover, you are usually afraid of something that happens very rarely, in fact, it is not always fatal or does not depend on you. You are incredibly afraid of throwing tea on your boss as you walk by. You go crazy because, maybe, an earthquake will start. I’m almost sure that I forgot to turn off the iron and now half of the entrance has been set on fire. You wake up at night with the insight that tomorrow you will be fired or someone from your family will get sick. Sometimes fear doesn't even take a specific form. You just feel it out of the blue. With all its physiological manifestations: palpitations, suffocation, sweating, trembling limbs. And he loves to overtake you at the most inopportune moment. Sound familiar? Uh-oh-oh, bad news.

8. Unstable self-esteem

A short burst of self-confidence forces you to take on a task or agree to go to a cafe with friends. But after a short time you are covered. You understand that you can’t and can’t do anything, and it’s about to be revealed. That your friends cannot be interested in you in any way and you will only be disgraced. Drop spoons and mumble all sorts of nonsense. And when you are covered with unreasonable fear in their presence, they will shower you with contempt. Exactly.

9. Ticks and small movements

Did you think that a tick is when the eyelid twitches? And what happens to your neck or under your knee is … well, something else? The teak can creep out in the most unexpected places. You can walk and twitch your head like Bormann in the movies. You can feel yourself trembling under the arm or in the calf, and you just can't cope with it. You can catch yourself in a strange and short, constantly repetitive shoulder movement. It's all he, tick. You also have amazingly restless fingers. They all the time need to sort out something, tear, scribble and cross out, braid and do a thousand other small movements. It is your body that is trying to somehow cope with anxiety or irritation. From time to time, of course, it happens to everyone. The key, however, is from time to time.

In fact, there are much more manifestations of neurosis. To cover everything, one article would not be enough for us, so we limited ourselves to the most popular ones. The question is, what do you do when you realize that you are neurotic.

First of all, find an opportunity to rest. At first glance, this will not help. The symptoms will even get worse. But without rest, you will break completely. To cheat neurosis, avoid lying passively on the couch. Alternate relaxation with work and walking or sports. This will help stabilize the situation a little. But the most disliked recipe on the Internet remains the main recipe: "See a doctor urgently." We really hope that you will use it. The doctor you need is in the neurosis clinic. Yes, it's that simple.
