Moments of self-pity are characteristic of absolutely all people. The presence of unfulfilled tasks is an indicator that a person regrets himself and does nothing. It's simple - to complete any plan and project, you must at least start doing something. Taking care of your health is easy, but for this you need to get off the couch and do some exercises. To find a loved one, you need to meet and communicate with people, be open, etc. If a person does not move in anticipation of the fulfillment of his goals, then he feels sorry for himself.
- Analyze whether there is internal psychological stress in relation to the goal. In this case, it is better to choose an average goal in duration, the most optimal option is a few weeks. For example, the task was set to follow a strict diet and not eat after 18.00. Several weeks have passed, but nothing has changed - late snacks continue, the diet smoothly turns into the category of unrealized ideas, but at the same time, strong tension and self-criticism builds up inside. This is evidence that a person feels sorry for himself.
So, there are 3 main indicators of self-pity:
- complaints out loud;
- unfulfilled dreams, "stuck" for a long time;
- internal tension in relation to desires and goals.
How to stop feeling sorry for yourself and continue to move forward? First you need to realize that you have self-pity, then you need to work out and analyze the possible causes, develop further tactics of action and firmly go towards the intended goal.
