Not so long ago, a standard on medical psychology and neuropsychology prepared by a team of authors was put on public display. It is already available on the Internet and each of you can familiarize yourself with it. I would like to throw in my own opinion on the draft professional standard. I will try to do this in a thesis.

1. Since 2018 is in the yard, then, as a graduate of the Faculty of Clinical Psychology in 2004, I would like the terminology of a medical psychologist to go into the distant past, and in the nomenclature of positions and in professional standards, the name identical to the specialty in the diploma and the name of the faculty would appear - clinical psychology.

2. I believe that it is inappropriate to place neuropsychology outside the brackets of a hotel professional standard. The whole point of the Faculty of Clinical Psychology is to produce specialists who are well versed in pathopsychology, neuropsychlogy, psychosomatic medicine and consultative psychology. If we single out a separate professional standard for neuropsychology, then it is logical to single out a professional standard for all specialized disciplines (pathopsychology, psychosomatics, etc.) and there is no need for the very standard of a clinical psychologist. In short, a clinical psychologist is, by definition, a neuropsychologist and pathopsycholo without options.

3. At the moment, the law on psychological assistance has not been adopted, therefore, I believe that the procedure for approval should be as follows - the law on psychological assistance, and then professional standards.

4. It is necessary to give psychotherapy to psychologists, as it is done all over the world. And for tablets and injections there are beautiful words - psychopharmacotherapy and neuropharmacology.

5. The point that a psychologist must know the laws and regulations governing the organizational and legal basis for the provision of medical and psychological assistance to patients is difficult to implement with regard to the point of psychological assistance, since it is difficult to know something that does not exist in nature.

6. From the pleasant things - doctors-general practitioners will not be appointed to the leadership of psychologists, and psychologists will be in charge of psychological services, laboratories, departments. This will greatly facilitate the task of communication in the subordinate-manager system. An interesting example in this regard is the 12th hospital. Yu. V. Kannabikha, where fifteen psychologists are supervised by a doctor - psychiatrist. This is not an isolated case. As our anatomy teacher used to say: "You will be under the doctor and over the nurse." So, now there is every chance that we will not, but will be there as part of a multidisciplinary team.
