Remember the tale of how your grandfather planted a turnip and could not pull it out when it was already ripe? Remember, at first he called the grandmother - they did not pull out the turnip. Then - the granddaughter, they did not pull out the turnip. Then the Bug, the cat, and finally the mouse. And when everyone pulled together, then they pulled out the turnip!

When I was little, I understood the tale so that they pulled out the turnip thanks to the mouse, she put in her efforts and then got the result (don't judge me strictly, I was 3-4 years old:)). Now I already know that it was possible to pull out the turnip thanks to the invested efforts of everyone!

Sometimes a person in the process of self-development, achieving a goal resembles that grandfather. Sometimes he called his grandmother, granddaughter, the turnip did not give in, he drops his hands and no longer tries to pull. Sometimes he calls only the mouse. Sometimes he calls everyone, but separately. Sometimes he is in search of the cherished "mouse", thanks to which, with minimal effort, he will not only pull out a turnip, but also dig up potatoes, plow a vegetable garden and plant winter rye.

What mistakes could your grandfather have?

1) He could every day try to pull the turnip himself;

2) He could pull a turnip every day only with a grandmother;

3) He could call everyone in turn and pull a turnip every day: only with the grandmother - today, only with the granddaughter - tomorrow, only with the Bug - the day after tomorrow, etc.

4) He could call for help a grandmother, a granddaughter, a bug, a cat, but disdain the efforts of a mouse: what is the use of this little one?

5) He could have a bad relationship with the grandmother and, as a proud man, refuse her help;

6) He could call five granddaughters or five Scutes, or five cats and wonder why the turnip does not give in.

7) He could see what kind of turnip grew huge, be very surprised ("go nuts" - in Russian) and not even take it out, because this is supposedly a deliberately unpromising event;

8) He could not plant a turnip, because the shrews will eat it anyway, the moles will spoil the fruit, the land is bad, not fertile, and in general there is a crisis in the country, there is no time for turnips.

9) He may have decided that he is too old to be in the garden. Or that a turnip is too difficult and planting one carrot all your life.

10) And he could also plant a fruit that does not grow in our climate, see that there was no germination and not plant anything else, since "nothing grows."

Think about what mistakes you make in the process of achieving your goal? And if the goal has not yet been achieved, then what else can be done, what additional efforts to take or do something differently, otherwise, in order to achieve the desired result?

Sometimes, in the process of moving forward, you have already gone so much, have already invested so much effort that one drop, one half-step forward, one "mouse" is enough to achieve the goal, to achieve the cherished result!
