Sometimes my clients come to realize that the hardest part is admitting that it hurts.

They are used to coping.

Be very diligent in getting away from your feelings.

To drown them out with work, an endless number of things and tasks in life.

And, as a rule, they do it perfectly well!

But sometimes the degree of pain becomes slightly higher.

And the usual "pill" of workaholism and achievement no longer helps.

And increasing the dose even becomes life-threatening.

When this understanding comes, it grieves and saddens them very much.

One man who has been in therapy for just over half a year recently said: “But everyone in society encourages workaholism.

No one will judge or say what a loser you are in life. You work - well done!

You work twice as much - a double fellow! Only myself from this already sick."

It can be very surprising and at the same time sad when it turns out that in order to feel alive and have the right to live, you need to "work" almost to death, you need to feel tiredness in every cell of your body …

In therapy, we deal with these "trade-offs" of the psyche, learning more about the story behind it.

Typically, a story of conditional acceptance, sometimes rejection, sometimes not acceptance at all.

But, the main thing is that therapy makes it possible to realize and come to understand that I have the right to be without over-efforts and self-annihilation.

And it is extremely pleasant when the taste of life and the feeling of oneself come.

And work remains just work, not a refuge where the pain hides.

Deep and strong.
