Françoise Sagan is one of my favorite writers.

And, although I got acquainted with her works relatively recently, it seems to me that I have always read it.

It all started with the book "Bonjour, sadness!" Then she quickly corrected herself, but noted this fact for herself.

Some time passed.

I read her other works, where the feelings, experiences and internal conflicts of the main characters are always very subtly, deeply conveyed.

Moreover, in her stories you rarely find bright happy ends, however, as in real life, where, too, not everything is always simple.

The love that she describes in her works is always so subtle, sincere, fragile that it seems that just one unsuccessfully dropped word is enough and that's it: the end of not only love, but also life! However, this is what happened in the novel A Little Sun in Cold Water …

After her stories, it is sometimes very sad and sad. And these feelings last for a very long time.

Therefore, it was a complete surprise for me to learn very interesting, happy and mystical facts from the life of the writer herself.

The novel "Bonjour, Sorrow!" - it was her first published work, which brought her worldwide fame. This novel has been translated into 30 languages and filmed.

It tells a difficult, sad story of a girl who deceived her frivolous father and his mistress, who she did not like because she was a woman with strict principles and very controlling. This is a story about secular, at first glance, very superficial people who are looking for a more convincing reality than the one in which they live. But, having come into contact with it, they are frightened of its depth and seriousness and choose their own "familiar" world, in which, as it seems to them, everything is easy and fun, but, in fact, very sad and sad …

When she wrote it, she promised herself that the first fee would be skipped violently, although at that time she already had a dream to buy herself a small apartment.

But promising herself is really a very serious matter, so she did so in the end.

I walked in a big way and with pathos. Once in the casino, I bet on my favorite numbers (3, 8, 11).

And now, she has the last money in her hands for the published first book. She bets on "eight black" and … breaks a jackpot in the amount of eighty thousand francs (two hundred thousand euros by today's standards).

When I returned home in the morning, the owner of the house where she rented a house wanted to take an inventory. The happy writer was very tired, and she was definitely not up to it. Suddenly she asks him: "Have you by any chance thought to sell the whole house?" “I thought,” the owner replied. And he added: "Its cost is eighty thousand francs …".

The writer laid out in front of him all her won money and then lived in this house, which she lovingly called "The House of My Heart", all her life.

So miracles do happen in life and dreams do tend to come true!

And they come true sometimes in the most extraordinary, very miraculous way!

And happiness sometimes follows us for a very long time and only waits for us to say "Hello!" and we will readily invite you into your life.

But in order for it to enter, you need to make room for it!

Therefore, "Orevoir, sadness !!!"
