This romantic name belongs to R. Steiner, philosopher, founder of Waldorf pedagogy. It means those crises, peak experiences in which the child first "wakes up" his Self, his true nature - wakes up and seeks its expression in the world around him.
It is useful for parents to know about such things in order to properly support their children - and for people engaged in self-development, in order to help their Inner Child and themselves in general as competently.
Exist 5 basic thunderbolts, the first of which occurs at the time of physical birth.
This is the significance of the moment of birth in the concept of Body Insight:
The process of our birth is generally one big and very important metaphor for how do we "give birth" to anything in life - if we take as an axiom that we are "born" many times in new qualities, not always globally, but any process of change (internal or external), in principle, is very convenient to consider as "birth" - for example, I am born as a student, when I go to school, I am born as a graduate / student at the university, I am born as a working person (when I have my first job), as a specialist, as a partner in a relationship, and so on. In the same way, this applies to any of our ideas, projects, to everything that we create. At the same time, the process of our physical birth is a certain common pattern embedded in us. Quite often - traumatic or burdened with something not very good.
Conception - this is how we start, where we start, how we relate to our ideas.
Pregnancy - how we "nurture", look for resources for implementation, in principle, do we feel enough of these resources or not. The second matrix (according to Grof), when the contractions began, is about patience, about the ability to endure the difficult stages of project implementation without falling into despair and without abandoning what was conceived. The third matrix (passage through the birth canal) is the style of my movement in life, my unique pattern in this. And the fourth is acceptance of the result.
Not knowing my original pattern often leads to a general misunderstanding if something is happening to me right now. natural for me (whether I move in accordance with my nature) or not, which can be exhausting and lead to the presence of extreme dissatisfaction with myself. At the same time, it may be completely unclear where the mistake was made and why everything is so "crooked"? And this, it turns out, is not a mistake at all, but just such a pattern of movement - special and peculiar only to me.
The next "thunderclap" happens at 3-4 years old, and touches stubbornness of a child, his desire to do something on his own. It is very important to remember (when working with yourself) what exactly did I want to show myself in? How stubborn I was the first time - what was it about? This manifestation of the Self belongs to the realm of emotions and has a strong effect on it, also affecting the realm of will. Many teenage problems from the series "He wants nothing" in fact, they are laid down precisely at this age, when parents (it does not matter, consciously or not) discourage a small child from doing anything - to do it on their own, to persist in their work, to be able to withstand the pressure of external and internal circumstances.
At 10-11 years old, the child has an Opinion, literally about everything, and this opinion (normally) the child seeks to express. Obviously, these statements will not be mature and wise, more often than not they, on the contrary, take the form of a protest - first of all, against teachers (because Parents are still divine, but teachers / mentors are projections of Parent / Powerful figures). What is very important here?
Two main things are needed: just to hear and not evaluate. At this age, the very same Inner Critic, from which so many people then suffer, that same Inner Figure, edges "does not give even a word to say", without devouring the person with a meal. Therefore, valuelessness in relation to children's opinion is absolutely fundamental here (and this is the way of working with the Critic inside - to learn, if parents have not taught this, to listen to oneself WITHOUT evaluations).
The next appearance of the Higher Self occurs at about 15-17 years old, and concerns my Features … This is the first crisis of existential loneliness, during which a young person for the first time makes a choice - either to seek and join "his own", or "to get into the shell." Adult support here is to be / stay at arm's length, while not intruding on personal boundaries, demonstrating an "equality" relationship ("If you send me a text message about where you are, then I also send you a text message where I"). It is important to know that at this age most adolescents cannot directly ask for help! Therefore, it is useless to wait for this, but it is very useful to make it clear that help is here, nearby and unobtrusively offering it from time to time.
And the last - the age of 23-25, in which you can feel what I mean in society and in life in general. For the first time there is a desire "I want to live MY own life!" mindful of the essence of one's nature.
