To master your emotional states:
1. Try to imagine very clearly, in all details, what you feel, experience when you are completely calm, and what - when you are very tense. It is even better to describe (draw) these states. Then, for several days, you can read excerpts from books, poems and other texts, imagining yourself in one or another state. Spend 10 minutes a day on this exercise. It is especially difficult to return to this exercise when it is especially difficult and at the same time absolutely necessary to master your condition (it is useful to use some techniques of autogenous training);
2. To induce calmness, a relaxed state in yourself, you can use the following technique: remember the place where you were, or some event in your life, when you experienced complete peace, pleasant laziness, bliss, and try as brightly as possible, remembering all the sensations, imagine this place and this event in as much detail as possible;
3. A similar technique can be used to "tune" yourself to a confident "winning" state.
To control facial expression and voice:
1. When you are anxious (at home before a test or exam), look at yourself very carefully in the mirror. Just take your time and do not grimace. Just consider yourself and that's it. And then try to make your face look as if you want to convince others that you are confident in yourself. And remember this feeling;
2. A similar exercise should be done for the voice. At the same time, it is good to record your “confident voice” on a tape recorder, and then, causing a state of confidence, how to “adjust” to this recording;
3. In order to better master your movements, gestures, facial expressions, you can use psycho-gymnastics.
Some exercises to successfully prepare a response:
1. Formulate for yourself the purpose of the answer. But the goal should not be the mark that you want or are afraid to get, but what you have to tell about;
2. Smile! Smile, even if it is difficult for you. Smiling is a great way to relieve stress. And it will be more pleasant for other people to look at you and communicate with you;
3. The most important thing is not to be afraid to make a mistake! Everyone has mistakes. Learn to use mistakes in order to better understand the material, in solving problems and, most importantly, in yourself (Why was I wrong? What did not know? Was inattentive?).
After answering, analyze what was good and bad in your answer.
