Scientists have conducted research on the work of the brain while writing with a pen and while typing on a keyboard. The results of this study showed that when writing with a pen, a part of the brain, called Broca's center, is actively working - this part of the brain is responsible for speech and thinking. When typing on the keyboard, this part of the brain is either not used at all, or gives a very weak signal.

This is the era of technology. Pen and paper are a thing of the past. Basically, people type on the keyboard, as well as type text using the touch screen on smartphones and tablets. More and more often in recent years, an audio set of messages has begun to be in demand, when you simply speak the information, and the program itself converts them into printed text.

That is, part of the brain, namely Broca's center, is not activated and will atrophy over time. All this leads to the fact that human speech becomes scarce, thinking gradually degrades, it becomes difficult to think logically and express your opinion. Accordingly, such people are easy to manage.

Printed speech is also bad in that, with its appearance, people began to shorten and distort words beyond recognition and then transfer these words into oral speech, which, in fact, leads to the destruction of the nation.

What kind of richness of language and beauty of speech can we talk about?

When working with clients, I drew attention to this fact. When I give homework and ask to do it in writing, almost no one does it! A few customers who take a pen, paper and work on their problem. More often they come to the next consultation with a whole heap of explanatory reasons why it did not work out:

- Forgot

- Too lazy to write

- I don't like to write at all

- Analyzed in my mind

- Pen run out or paper

- There was no time (but at the same time, as it turns out, the series has been watched, we went to barbecue with friends, the feed in social networks has been scrolled through, etc.)

- Distracted, distracted

- And a million more excuses

When we just in our minds answer questions, think, analyze, etc. it looks like a puzzle in a box. All the details are there, but they are chaotically scattered and it is not possible to see the whole picture until we get these puzzles out of the box and assemble them.

There is nothing easier than taking a pen and paper and putting together your “picture of life” from your own “puzzles”.

By writing down a question and answering it in writing, a person lights up Brock's cent like a light bulb and makes that part of the brain that is responsible for logic, thinking and speech work. Thus, finding the necessary and correct answers and solutions to their life problems.

But no ….. A person prefers to go to therapy, trainings, master classes, etc. for years. disappointment, hope, wait, dream, desire, but just don't write!

Who watched the video training with a pen, writing down important moments for themselves in a notebook ???

For the sake of interest, I decided to ask around my acquaintances and not very familiar people about this. I asked three questions:

1. How long did the training or webinar last?
2. Did you write down important information in a notebook, notebook, diary, etc.?
3. What did you remember from what you watched, heard?

Result:

On average, the duration was about 1.5 hours

Nobody recorded, but only watched and listened

And as it turned out, they didn’t remember ANYTHING, only the general impression, I liked it - I didn’t like it. When clarifying what exactly I liked and what I didn't, the answer is about the same: "I don't remember anymore, they said interesting things" or "I don't remember anymore, they were carrying some kind of nonsense."

Needless to say, the knowledge gained was not applied in practice, because they forgot about it an hour after the video was turned off.

Why did you look ??? What was the time for?

And if you wrote down important points, you could return to them, re-read, mark "+" or "-" what worked and what did not, that is, apply the knowledge gained in practice, and not just waste time.

Why am I all this…. To the fact that a person can solve their problems either independently or at least speed up the solution process using the most accessible materials - this is pen, paper and brain!

Gadgets and simplification of human life are good and convenient, but this convenience should not make people degraded zombies. Maintain your individual ability to think logically, speak beautifully and competently, do not let your brain atrophy.

Write by hand as much as possible, keep a diary, try to solve your problems with pen and paper, it is not for nothing that they say that "All ingenious is simple!"
