Perhaps the most amazing discovery that you can make for yourself in the process of self-development:
You always get what you want.
This may seem absurd until you know yourself. But the more you get to know yourself, the more you become convinced that this is so.
An adult almost always gets what he wants himself. If something happened in your life that you do not like, it only means that you have not yet discovered, recognized, or accepted the part of yourself that created this event.
Sounds like science fiction? But upon closer inspection, it turns out that this is how it happens.
If something undesirable for him happens in the life of an adult, then you can always find that subconscious part of him that wanted it. Otherwise, this event would not have happened, or it would have been perceived neutrally.
For example:
Someone insulted you or behaved rudely towards you. This is unpleasant for you, you obviously did not want it. But if you listen to yourself, then you can find that there is such a part in you that wanted to be offended. Because being offended comes with benefits. Now you have the right to condemn this person, now you have the right to be angry, now you have the right to sympathy, now you feel you are right, now you can break off relations with this person with a clear conscience. In the end, if one part of you wants to be important and respected by all means, then there is always a second, shadow part in the subconscious that wants the opposite. It is not visible at first glance, because it is in the subconscious. But if you look inside yourself, you can find it all.
Accepting and living your shadow sides, you become free, and more and more you notice that what is happening to you in life corresponds to your life tasks and you like it.
Perhaps you have heard and read in books that a person can be the creator of his life and attract events with his inner state. But if you are attentive, you will notice that you cannot even be a creator. You are continuously creating your future with your inner state, this happens inevitably.
Therefore, it is so important to work with your inner state if you want to improve the quality of your life.
What was said in this article is based on our observations in the process of working on ourselves and working with clients. All this applies to adults, you should not apply it to children, whose lives are highly dependent on the condition of their parents. Also, it is not worth considering global catastrophes and genocides in the context of this article. These are global processes associated with the collective unconscious, and not only with individuals and families.
