The plane can be twisted and viewed from different angles, looking for pluses and minuses - after all, there is certainly both. I would like to draw your view on the issue as a whole. The same approach that is used everywhere: in the upbringing of children, and in self-study / self-education and in compulsory general special or higher education, in any attempt to get acquainted with something new and reach certain heights in this. After all, the essence of the approach itself is the same. I would not say that the essence is bad - no, in my opinion at the moment it is not at all relevant. Once it was relevant, but now it is not. This is my opinion, and I will try to reveal it to you.

My direct experience suggests that interest, as well as curiosity, are natural phenomena inherent in every creature, be it a blade of grass, a snail or a person by default, de facto. And for this there is no need for forcing, within a rigid framework, even for efforts there is no need. It is enough to create cozy, comfortable, joyful conditions - and everything that is needed sprouts by itself. Interest, curiosity and relationships are splendidly born and self-organize as soon as the need arises, as soon as the appropriate context arises, especially if there is freedom to create interacting and there is no external pressure. What you need is not to interfere. It's very simple, but it really is enough - no violence, no interference and no rigid boundaries. This is how children learn about the world - in constant creativity, exploring, curious, playing. And it is precisely this freshness that an adult man, confident in himself and his righteousness, unlearns, a man unlearns flexibility, lightness and simple joy of being. And many "adults" should learn exactly this from children, instead of implanting their own such clumsy beliefs, knowledge and rules.

Unfortunately, or maybe quite the opposite - fortunately, the human mind is an incredibly inert mechanism and when faced with an unusual, unfamiliar or new (be it a look, an idea, a discovery - whatever) reacts either defensively - defending its familiar and familiar, or attacking with criticism, trying to neutralize the apparent threat to the same familiar, familiar. A person is often rarely and little interested in alternatives to a friend, fearing the destruction of a cozy already formed picture of the world and instead of exploring the new and fresh, preferring to shield himself from the fresh with criticism, hiding his head in the sand like an ostrich, as if there is nothing to notice cowardly, insisting on his own and so on - ways a lot of. In general, there is no problem in this - new, fresher, more flexible from this does not disappear.

But back to education. Time is running inexorably and the old ideas about the education system are irrevocably outdated - the ideas on which the average school and university education is built. The entire education system is already bursting at the seams in our time. The giant is slowly sinking, but has tremendous inertia, so it will look like sinking with gusto, slowly.

Don't get me wrong, I am not opposed to education, or even opposed to current approaches to education, just as I am not opposed to those who are comfortable and enjoy walking in bast shoes. My view as a current form of giving knowledge is something like this: does the direction of the entire education system that it is aimed at, does it give joy, ease of life, flexibility both in the body and in the mind, the ability to enjoy, love, express oneself, be happy? Did the education system teach you this? Did she teach you happiness that would be independent of your position, salary,regalia / medals, successes, wallet thickness or fence height of a country house, etc.? I am interested in similar questions.

Life is changing, confidence and strict rules, the learning of verbal bookish knowledge, deeply theorized knowledge, concepts, so relevant 50-100 years ago and many centuries ago, are losing relevance right before your eyes. They are replaced by flexibility, freshness, playful easy interaction.

If you look around carefully, you will surely notice how young-spirited companies prepare specialists for themselves, all university crusts fly to kindle the stove of the first couple of days of acquaintance with the immediate matter. The harsh management and corporate ethics are replaced by lightness, joy and playfulness. The framework between leaders and performers is being erased, they are becoming interchangeable. Tight control is leaving a living young business, joy is replacing, creativity in ease, in pleasure.

It may be difficult for you to admit this to yourself, but the realities of the current state of affairs are such that in the accumulation of information, in the structured knowledge and even in the detailed memorization of information - in what was recently considered a sign of intelligence and depth - in all this right now there is not the slightest needs. Yes, it's all about the Internet. Yes, dear mothers and fathers, despite the fact that the library man is still in demand in many professions, this will change in the very near future. There is no need for a person to know a lot of information and carry it in himself as in the old days (which is still in question). For this, mechanisms appeared. And they do an excellent job with their function - organizing storage, structuring, and quick access to huge amounts of information.

And the fact that one parent will be perceived as "oh horror, this Internet", from which it is worth protecting children, by others, more intelligent and lively, will be used easily and wisely, that is, for the good. After all, I hope that it has long been no secret for you that prohibitions and punishments are the lot of the weak and stupid, or rather the unwise, I would even put it more bluntly - dumb, but stupid without negative connotation, with a simple connotation, such as a table made of wood - it is wooden … It is very, very easy to hit, punish, ban or simply ignore, especially when you have an advantage in weight, height, and in a position of authority. So, something from which one person will try to protect the child out of fear and hundreds of fears, the other will figure out how to rejoice at a new opportunity and new horizons and to captivate, introduce a new opportunity in many aspects of life, thereby diversifying life, making it more interesting and exciting. My today's (for someone sad, but for someone joyful) facts and argumentation boil down to a simple realization: any informational knowledge of the whole world is available in an instant, with a wave of a couple of finger gestures, almost anywhere in the world.

But if being a walking encyclopedia is no longer so valuable, then what is the value of a new person, a person of the post-information era - some of you will probably ask?

Undoubtedly, this value is in lightness, in openness, in liveliness, in flexibility. In the ability to use huge information arrays, signals from the senses and in the ability to create something completely new from this, relevant for a specific current situation. In fact, in the ability to be happy right now, regardless of the environment or the circumstances.

The good news is that you do not need to accumulate knowledge, do not need to worry and do not need to control - you can already be who you are, and finally start creating, rejoicing. At least try. After all, if not right now, then when else? You don't have to force yourself into unloved jobs, you don't have to engage in money-grubbing, accumulating things, houses, cars - you can learn to be happy, learn to be happy. And whoever tries, he will certainly agree that it is not easy, it does not work out like this immediately, at a swoop.

Not being burdened with awareness here will be a huge relief for you. And that's more good news. And for those who do not dare to leave knowledge overboard - in general, of course, nothing terrible threatens, the world will not collapse, just new opportunities will remain unopened.

And my today's proposal to you will be as follows: in order to reveal something really new and fresh, you just need to free up space for this fresh - that is, to throw out something stale. And the huge elusive difficulty here is (now I will share with you truly spiritual and mystical knowledge) that RIGHT NOW (and if not right now, then at the very next crucial moment), the old will seem MOST VALUABLE to YOU, and you will completely abandon it you will not want to and you will IMMEDIATELY meet with fear, with an attempt to preserve the old, with your own resistance, protest, defense, aggression, defense and everything in the world that you do not want to face.

But here is the time for the third good news: this is an inevitable stage, and without it - nothing. And right behind this very door of everything unbearable - complete calm. It remains only for everyone not to chicken out at the most crucial moment.
