How insight works: congruence and system. One of the great advantages of insight as a method is the presence of a clear bodily (i.e. physically tangible) marker of the authenticity of the process and the success of its completion. This marker is pain
In addition to the seven large zones described in the article "How insight works: congruence and the system", within these zones there are several points, each of which corresponds to a certain attitude (for example, it can be an idea level, mental / verbal attitude, figurative attitude, self-expression, qualities of a real person, trust in mother / father, and so on).
Each session begins with an enumeration of points according to their painfulness - the therapist clicks on the points, asking the client which of them responds with more severe pain. And since soreness is evidence of the greatest tension in the body, in this way the client (or rather, his unconscious) chooses the most urgent problem at the moment in his life to work through. It is important that this choice does not take place "with the head", not by reasoning about what I would like to work with now - because such reasoning often leads away from a truly important topic, both literally and figuratively painful (psychological defenses are triggered, habitually protecting us from the mental pain already experienced before). The body cannot lie, if the body is in pain, it means that the problem (task, conflict) really exists and is really relevant.
During the session itself, answers to the therapist's questions are also given (and / or confirmed) "according to pain." For example, "Is this the situation we want?" (clicking on the dot) "Or are we looking for another?" (clicking on a point); "Is this the best thing you can do?" (clicking) "Or is there something else?" (pushing). Absolutely any question in the session can be checked by the response of the body, and neither the client nor the therapist needs to "guess" whether we are going in the right direction, whether we have missed some important details. Moreover, clear sensations in the body do not allow the client to "leave" the process and start "fantasizing", i.e. go into intellectual reasoning instead of feeling what exactly is happening, and change what you want to change "with all of you", and not just at the level of the "head".
In addition to pain at a point (a marker of the client's body), there is another indicator well known to those people who are engaged in various bodily practices (TOP, massage, reiki, etc.) - the so-called "sticking hand". During the session, the therapist's hand is constantly in the working area, touching the client's body, and pressing on the point alternates with the usual psychotherapeutic touch (ethical, clear, firm and unambiguous). Body contact is maintained until the end of the session, allowing the client (again on a bodily level) to feel the presence and support of his therapist, and the therapist to feel that his hand will not "come off" until the client has an insight and the final phrase will be found, with the help of which this insight is consolidated.
As soon as the insight and the corresponding phrase are found, two "miracles" occur simultaneously: the point stops working (pain disappears) and the therapist's hand "flies" from the point. Thus, the fact that the insight is really complete is confirmed by the client's inner feelings, and the removal of bodily soreness, and the feelings of the insightist. A very good method for those who hardly trust themselves and are used to rechecking everything over and over again.

How To Keep Our Heads Clear When We Are Brainwashed
There is no person in the world who, at least once, has not been a victim of manipulation. No matter how smart and educated we think we are, everyone will remember how more than once, not two, or even ten he succumbed to the persuasion of a swindler, for example, in the guise of a gypsy or psychic, advertising, political propaganda.
Everything Secret Always Becomes Clear (about Generic Loyalty)
Today, more and more people, faced with material problems, failures in career and family life, think about the true reasons for what is happening. The search for real reasons leads to the realization that the source of the problem is in the person himself, in his thoughts, subconsciousness.
Working With Family History In Bodily Insight
The third area that is worked out in the basic course of insight is our back. Outdated parental and family scenarios are "stored" here on topics: hyperresponsibility, creativity (a ban on emotions and self-expression), fears and anxieties, survival, confused intuition And since it quite often happens that parents pass on to their children what they themselves at some point received from mom and dad or even from grandparents, in this zone we can work not only wi
How Insight Works: Resilience And Boundaries
The most global positive result from taking a course of insight therapy is an increase in resilience. Moreover, it increases significantly. To describe what “resilience” is in very simple terms, it is the ability to cope with what previously seemed unbearable and impossible.
How Insight Works: Vital Attitudes
If we describe very briefly what exactly the Bodily insight works with, then first of all, "insight works with unnecessary vital attitudes that hinder development and self-determination." * These are the attitudes that were laid down in (early) childhood, usually by the mother as "
