Good afternoon dear friends!
Today I invite you and me (me in the article, and you and us together already in the comments to it) to discuss what personal therapy can give. Well, and the question of the need to go through it, we will not leave, perhaps, without attention.
I'll try to tell you about myself, point by point. Of course, I don’t think I’ll have a complete list, but I don’t set such a comprehensive task for myself. So:
- therapy does not just give something one-time. For me personally, she launched a process of changes that make me, in my opinion, a more harmonious person, and this process continues after her. What I mean I will list next;
- a greater acceptance of oneself gave a greater acceptance of others with some of their own characteristics, which were not previously accepted in oneself;
- for example, allowing myself to be mistaken (this does not mean that I do it on purpose), just accept that I was mistaken, and calmly move on from this reality;
- more to admit the likelihood that I may be wrong and I myself in something, and acceptance of the mistakes of other people, this has become more, acceptance of my imperfection and, as a result, not demanding perfection from others;
- as a result, a more attentive attitude to criticism, gratitude for it instead of a desire to stop “all this”;
- a more attentive attitude to the opinion of another person, a desire to figure out why he thinks so, why it is important to him;
- a better understanding of their needs and desires, their implementation in practice, and not minimizing and stopping;
- a better understanding of the needs and desires of other people, their support in their own aspirations;
- in parallel with this - great confidence in yourself and your strengths and capabilities;
- a more respectful attitude towards yourself and others;
- great responsibility for what I do in the world, how I manifest myself in it.
These are, perhaps, points outright, pardon the tautology, coming to mind.
As you noticed, speaking to yourself, I kind of touched only one branch of changes that happened and are happening to me.
Thank you for your attention!
I look forward to your comments!
