Last week I was thinking of doing an article on what to do during quarantine. I'm pretty sure everyone has already made a to-do list!

Of course, I myself made such a list for myself. But the big question is what I was guided by when compiling this list. Thanks to psychotherapy, literally yesterday I met with the fact that I was guided by such a basic question as "What to do !?"

And he poked plans for himself from the "must" position: write something about the corona virus, be in trend, etc. I thought like: “Well, what else to do !? I can't write about * anything * in such and such a period of time! " But listening to myself, I cannot say that quarantine and everything connected with it is my topic right … And most importantly, I did not want to meet with the actual: "What is now?" - for me personally.

Often the question "What to do?" and at the reception with a psychologist, the client asks from position when he does not understand what is now. He wants to get the miraculous "Do it" so that …

I presume to think: when you ask this question, what lies at the root, what lies behind it?

And most often there is a reluctance, fear or even horror to meet what and how it is now, frightening confusion and lack of an internal reference point.

Therefore, the full cycle of the question, I think, would sound like this: "Tell me what to do so that I take and stop experiencing all that terrible mess of my state now!" But no. It doesn't work that way. Deeds in this case distract the person further from what he is now. This means that upon leaving the "business" the person will feel even more devastated …: /

And I'm not telling anyone not to do anything:) That would be stupid. Rather, I suggest that before you occupy yourself with anything (both now and in a non-crisis time), check with yourself:

“How do I feel in general now? Do I intend to do this to keep myself occupied and because I want to, or to avoid myself? "

After all, such situations invariably throw us into a reassessment of values (I am thinking about this yet to write), they are greeted with wild powerlessness in front of something global, many times greater than ourselves. We can meet again with the question: “What can I really do? What depends on me and what does not? What can I do under new conditions? This is a crisis. Definitely a crisis. And only going through its stages, meeting with it face to face, we can go back into our life as renewed stronger people.

When I stopped "needing" in their landmarks, but met with what is - eureka! - I have fresh LIVE ideas about what and how I want to write, what I want to convey. Including this post! After all, inspiration from under the stick - well, it does not work. And meeting with myself led to inspiration … And I wish you this!

If you are in a crisis and do not know how to be, you cannot understand what to do in these difficult times, how to relate to it, where to put yourself; or you have conflicts with loved ones on the basis of a pandemic, I invite you to work online. In times of crisis, it is possible to work with a reduced price.
