And these substances are substances of active and exciting activity. And when in your life there are enough consistent activities that captivate you, actively motivating you goals, the fear of death actively dissolves in the stream of your activity. Tolerance to discomfort
Don't feed a person with bread, just give him the opportunity to climb into the comfort zone. Moreover, it is desirable in a state of relaxation. By analogy with discomfort, facing disappointment also leads to a loss of contact with oneself, with one's resource, with one's capabilities, plans, and goals. We fall into frustration and powerlessness with all our psyches at once. We suffer, worry, complain somewhere (or frankly whine), and our fear of death becomes many times stronger.
