In any life situation, only love or fear can rule
Love expands, inspires, inspires, fear, on the contrary, compresses, cements. Love is natural for any living being; it is the source of life itself. Fear is unnatural, it is necessary for a person only in order to understand the irresistible power of love, its significance for the person himself, for life.
Love is our bright side. Love is the truthful, sincere, natural we.
Fear is our "False Self" that eats away at us from the inside. Like a cancer cell in our life, it also closes the soul from God, from the world, from people and makes us think that in this world everyone is for himself: “I am me, and you are you,” “the main thing is that I feel good, And how do you want to".
Just like a cancer cell, the False Self is always closed and protected. Therefore, you need to track these signs for yourself. As soon as you start to defend yourself, you are guided by your "False Self" and you descend to the level of isolation, to the level of a cancer cell.
The basic fear is the fear of death. Why, for example, is a person afraid of the dark, or sharks, or snakes? Behind these objects lies the unknown, as well as experiences and acquired beliefs (often false). Because … in the dark there may be unknown dangerous creatures that will offend me …, sharks can tear (as shown in the movies), a snake can bite (once already bitten), and then … I can die.
Of course, fear is an important adaptive property, thanks to which any creature avoids danger. Therefore, a normal, moderate fear, despite all the unpleasant sensations it gives, is a necessary feeling. This is an absolutely normal, natural reaction to danger, threat (imaginary or real). This is normal, this is an instinct for self-preservation.
But, you probably noticed how spiritually developed people completely rely on the Divine will and, interestingly, practically do not get into situations when someone attacks them. Perhaps, if you relax and not succumb to fear - the necessary changes will happen by themselves?
Fear leads to aggression, anger, hatred and other destructive qualities. Depression occurs. It seems to us that the whole world is against us and even we are against ourselves.
But fear isn't the only cause of depression. Yes, it may be other negative emotions that you have not experienced, but the main ones are: anger (resentment is the female form of anger), grief, shame and fear. How do you know which emotion is not experienced by you? What emotion caused your depression?
Take a closer look at yourself if you have experienced a difficult situation that "a priori" causes anger (resentment), grief, shame or fear in people, and you think that you do not feel this, that "everything is in order" - you are just her haven't survived yet. At the same time, your anxiety rises, you lose energy balance, your self-esteem decreases, you get stuck in the role of a victim, give up close relationships, in general from life.
It seems to you that close people only take advantage of your weakness and it is simply convenient for them to be with you. You subconsciously think that there is nothing to love you for, and therefore you cannot believe in the sincere feelings of friends or a partner.
There are many reasons for fear and low self-esteem, but the main ones are: negative attitudes in the environment, especially in childhood; constant criticism and ridicule; reverent preservation of memories of failures; non-recognition of one's uniqueness and comparing oneself with others, as well as setting ultra-high unattainable goals without proper motivation.
The feeling of fear is a derivative of the unknown. Ignorance and uncertainty frighten us greatly, and this is quite natural.
Overcoming fear is very difficult. First of all, it is important to overcome at least one of your fears. For example, overcome the fear of finding out the truth about the situation (turn on the light, study the snakes, ask frankly, open doors, etc.). But not only "your truth", but also "the truth of the other side" and synthesize from it the "general truth". If you overcome one fear ("the most terrible"), all your other fears will unlock on their own.
So fear is our dark side that needs to be illuminated. Fear is a consequence of "unfinished" work on oneself.
If the opposite emotion to fear is love, the only way out of the situation is to exchange fear for love.
You need to try to make friends with your fears and love the reasons for those fears. Recognize the perfection of the situation that is taking shape in your life. To understand why this situation is for you (no matter how terrible and unpleasant it may be), for you (for such a good one) and right now (when everything seems to be going so well). What should you understand after receiving this lesson? What should you learn? After all, if you do not learn now, the situation will surely repeat itself (the Angels know their work) until you learn this difficult life lesson.
And then … love yourself the way you are - a unique, joyful, purposeful person. Love yourself for understanding what you were afraid of and why and for taking the path of understanding your fears, understanding yourself.
And tell yourself: “I am the only one in the whole world! I love myself, I love life, I can do everything, I will go through everything, I’m wonderful, so that it is not there!..”.
