For free, I generally do not advise. For free, I only answer questions on my sites and webinars, I do it with no less efficiency than when I consult for money, but in return I reserve the right to publish a question and an answer.

So whoever needs it, but who is not ready to pay, please use this resource.

But in this case, I want to write about something else. I live in the same world as you. Sometimes I also have problems and then I do exactly what I recommend to others. I find a professional and go to him for help.

And what comes of it? I recently needed a business consultation. A professional was recommended to me, we talked and he gave me just one piece of advice.

Only one! Moreover, when he gave it to me, after I painted the whole picture to him with heavy sighs, my disappointment knew no bounds.

First, it seemed completely elementary.

Secondly, it was something that I never did, because I thought that my majesty was not worthy of it.

And of course, it seemed to me that it would not work.

Nevertheless, I paid for the consultation an amount that was twice the cost of my personal consultation. Or three times, depending on the region. I will not say that I directly mourned this amount, but nevertheless I was somewhat sorry.

Then I returned home and thought. I thought something like this:

OK. The money has already been paid - this is a fact.

Now, provided that the money has been paid, the advice has been received, and I believe that it does not suit me, I can accept the fact that I am a fool (bought a disservice) and calm down on it. I will stop grieving about money tomorrow, and I will forget about the consultation in a few days. With the title "fool" I will somehow live, in principle, no stranger to.

There is a second option. Since the money has already been paid, the advice is given, although I think that it does not suit me, I can still try to use it. And if I don’t do this, then I’ll be a double fool. Because, not only did I pay the money, I still didn’t do anything.

And then I realized that I don’t want to be doubly stupid!

Further, guess what happened?

Yes, I did overpower myself and went to do what I was advised to do.

Despite the fact that she thought that my majesty was unworthy of it.

And the first, very first "trial balloon" brought me the result that the consultant promised me! Moreover, as a bonus, I added two more "options" that I hadn't even dreamed of.

I looked at the letter with the answer and thought: “Well, not a fig for myself! It turns out it works! And why haven't I done this before ?!"

And a lot of other unpleasant things about myself, I thought that, in principle, it fits the definition of "personal growth."

And yet, since I think well and quickly, I immediately realized that this answer brought me at least 6 times more than what I paid for the consultation. That is, I am already doing well.

Once I had a consultation with another business coach. Very cool.

I waited for her for a long time, prepared, worried.

By the way, not without excitement I thought how much it would cost me in price.))

This consultant told me a lot of useful and important things, with which I completely agreed.

When the consultation ended and I asked how much I owed, he said: "Nothing!"

And as I didn’t persuade, I didn’t give to pay.

It is still a mystery to me why he did not take money from me, but the fact remains: I am very grateful to him! Whenever I have an opportunity and it is appropriate, I advertise it. But I never did anything that he recommended to me.
