Many people are looking for their passion, their most real business, vocation. They do not have the feeling that something important and correct is happening in their life, what is called life. About what in old age one can say that he lived his life, and did not wait for its end.

There is a small but important secret here. If you have such an idea about a vocation and you are looking for an answer to the question of what you really need in life, and what will take you headlong … it means that you have no passion. Not now. The brain delves into its experience and does not find anything worthwhile there. And all this torment in search of a vocation and "real work" is his creative work to mold something new from what was.

However, what kind of building materials does the brain have? What will he create something from? In general, in most cases, he has very little suitable material for construction. Those. people in this state often rate what is available as unusable. The person looks around his krirpichiki of experience with a look full of disgust and says: “I don’t need all this. This is all I don't want anymore. But I want to "by tomorrow" the boyar chambers. " Consciousness and unconsciousness are digging through the available bricks and making a helpless gesture. No matter how hard you try, from what is, the "stone flower" will never come out.

So where do you get usable materials? From 2 sources.

1. Do not dismiss all your past experiences as illiquid. Quite often it becomes routine and devalued. What lies at the nose every day ceases to be desirable and interesting. What you have been able to do for 20 years is no longer considered an achievement. But if all this does not glitter in your mind like a firebird, it does not mean that it is useless in the future.

In addition, we quite often quickly remove from sight the positive experiences, and the events that made us happy, which we were proud of. People build their lives from problems. And not because they are such boring beeches. Problems are simply difficulties in life, unfavorable environmental conditions that we overcome. Overcome? Put it in the luggage in the long-term memory section. Life is built from these "conquests". But when this brick of experience is just one of the many in the wall, it ceases to be appreciated as something important. Although, without him, everything would have collapsed.

2. Yes, it is completely understandable and expected that you may greatly lack building materials in order to build something qualitatively new. Well, it cannot be that you know everything in this world! Even if you consider your experience to be rich and varied, it doesn't mean that you can't make it richer and more varied. It is not at all necessary that whatever comes into your field of vision will do. Sometimes, to find gold, you have to sift a ton of earth. But if you don't sift it, then you definitely won't find gold.

So how to carry out the selection of building materials:

1. Write a list of what you like. Those. absolutely everything that comes to mind. You don't have to sit and chew on the tip of a pen to immediately find the answer to the most important question in life. Let the brain issue a request for "like" everything it has. It does not matter that it may be some completely unrelated to life change things. They may or may not be useful. The main thing here is to teach the brain to seek out what is needed for your requests. Leave the list open. In the process of finding yourself, new "likes" will appear, which should be taken into account

2. Write a gratitude journal. Often people begin to bargain heavily on this matter. Many believe that everything around is so bad that it is simply not worthy of a good word. But, as a rule, if you do not appreciate something on the positive side, here, you simply cannot see it in any way, then you cannot correctly and adequately evaluate it. If you, nevertheless, find the strength to look out of the corner of your eye at the positive aspects of any phenomenon, then you will feel that you can rely on some of the bricks of your experience. And even use them in the current construction site.

3. Affirmations. Have you tried everything? Doesn't work at all. Probably, almost everyone at least once said to his reflection in the mirror something like "I am the most charming and attractive …". Affirmations should be your own, those that inspire you, and not the author of a self-help book. Look for them for yourself, see what hurts you in a positive way. What own and other people's thoughts shocked you, where did you sit the reflection of your own experiences and problems.

4. Make yourself a "creative board" or album, where you write ideas, glue pictures, write about your impressions and thoughts.

5. Think back to yourself when you were 10-12 years old. What were you doing then, what you loved. This does not mean that your childhood hobby is your passion. It's just that at this age, the child is already consciously, but still quite creatively and freely gaining experience and building new towers and cities from his experience and imagination. Memories of childhood can be a pathway to this resourceful state, which will help to reach a new level of solving the current problem.

6. Try whatever you like and what you would like to try someday. Any experience is valuable and rewarding.

7. Someone said: “Think what makes you the most angry, most sad and happy. This is your passion and recognition. I agree with this phrase and invite you to think about it too. Perhaps this will give some ideas.

This is all new building material, new resources to build, something that can truly become your passion.
