Today we live in a narcissistic society. Before that, the ball was ruled by schizoids (schizoid personality type). The answer to the question of how to become narcissists, we find in my video, so that I do not repeat myself. I will say one thing - narcissists are not born, they become. Family is the main factor.

Important: Narcissistic personality disorder (ADD) is a single diagnosis, but it combines three types of narcissism, which we will consider. Today we are talking about pathological narcissism.

There are different classifications, but I distinguish 3 main types of narcissists: grandiose or open, depressed or closed, and perverse. Today about the first 2, let's go incrementally)

1. So, a typical representative - the narcissist is grandiose, pretentious or open.

The most extroverted and demonstrative. An incredibly strong need to acknowledge his exclusivity. All narcissists are sensitive to criticism, but the grandiose one is not so susceptible, maybe everyone envies him. Absolute confidence in one's peerlessness leads to open manipulation of others. If such a narcissist does not receive the necessary attention and admiration, then his aggression will be open. He does not know how to sympathize, but with the boundaries of such a person everything is fine - he easily says no and is not ready to adjust. We are looking for grandiose daffodils among pop artists and people of creative professions. The grandiose narcissist often has a hysterical accentuation (bright outfits, outrageous behavior). He is always right. And it's better not to anger him) The Tudors show the path of a typical open-minded narcissist with a progression to perverse, in my opinion.

2. Closed daffodils better manipulators than open ones, although social success is achieved less often, which often leads them to depression and a victim position. They tend to blame others for their failures.

Latent narcissists don't directly say they are special, says Greenberg, author of books on narcissistic adaptations. them.

In hopes of gaining praise, many closed-minded narcissists allow themselves to be used in the name of successful people or groups they admire; they are more prone to envy and more sensitive to criticism. Unlike open ones, they are characterized by passive-aggressive behavior: they promise, but do not fulfill; inconsistent in their actions; in public, cute creatures, at home - little tyrants, etc.

The film "Lovers" with Natalia Vodianova is a great example of a depressed narcissist in the person of Rhys Myers.

What daffodils have you encountered? What is your experience?

I would be grateful for your feedback!
