Living in informational reality, a modern person daily encounters a huge amount of diverse information. Social networks and the Internet provide an opportunity for almost unlimited contact with people, in which a person is doomed to constantly experience many emotions and feelings that are markers of his needs. In an age of narcissistic challenges, it becomes more important than ever for people to be able to understand themselves in order to effectively cope with their emotional sphere. After all, it is the emotions experienced that directly affect the biochemistry of the brain, hormones produced by the body and, as a result, the general state of mental and physical well-being of a person, and emotional overloads become part of everyday life. Actually, it is not the possibility of effective emotional self-regulation and today leads to a growing percentage of depression, panic attacks and psychosomatic diseases.

Man is a social animal that constantly experiences experiences that inevitably arise in intense interaction with others. By an effort of will, he can only slow down his immediate reaction that arises in this interaction, choose the form for his reaction, the right time for its presentation, as well as, in principle, the need for this presentation. The way our grandparents often dealt with their emotions - namely, their complete denial and the resulting insensitivity - did not justify itself, raising a generation of emotionally traumatized people who began to show an increased interest in psychology and their own mental life. Therefore, a modern person today is faced with the need to find a new approach to dealing with his own emotionality, and, as a result, corporeality. Not to stop in development, freezing and displacing emotions, but choosing the natural and inherent in us by nature the path of formation of psychological autonomy, going through the process of separation-individuation, to remain sensitive and alive emotionally. Forming new neural connections, learn to be aware of your emotions and be in some new balance, when comfort is achieved not by getting rid of the sensory sphere, but by being in close connection with it, cooperation and cooperation. When feelings are recognized as their own continuation and important information that helps to orient themselves as accurately as possible in oneself and in the environment, being the conductors of needs - all that much that everyone really wants at every moment of time from his own life, people around him and from himself.

Insensitive and emotionally dependent manipulators are gradually being replaced by sensitive and empathic, but at the same time strong and emotionally stable people who are able to perceive their human nature with respect and faith in their own resources. This means that they are more ready to consciously form their environment, more interested in environmental friendliness of relations with others, more capable of rejecting toxic and choosing nourishing for themselves.

Being open, vulnerable, real in relationships with yourself and others is very scary, especially when the beginning was not made in early childhood in a safe, supportive atmosphere of parental acceptance, but you have to try as an adult, already traumatized in the zone of attachment, having a rich painful experience of rejection by a person. …But many still take risks, because they are either tired of living in boredom and emptiness, or desperate to deal with panic, anxiety and depression, which are a direct consequence of the insensitivity learned and transmitted through generations.

Psychotherapy, as a tool of self-knowledge that increases a person's awareness in the area of his own experiences and needs, his competence in matters of interpersonal relations, opens up a world of huge, previously unavailable opportunities today. Since it allows a modern person to achieve his goals in an environmentally friendly and careful format for his mental and physical health, increasing his emotional intelligence, empathy, while strengthening his internal supports and forming what is called Identity in modern psychology. It is the presence of a clear, formed adult identity in a person that gives him solid and reliable knowledge about himself, his real capabilities and limitations, bringing him to a new level of personal functioning.
