How To Work With Dreams: A Beginner's Manual. Part 1

My article is more for beginners. Here I tried to summarize some of the knowledge and experience I gained, to put everything on the shelves for YOU so that order was restored in my head and an understanding appeared that there are dreams, how to work with them and decipher them.

To begin with, everyone sees dreams

If you know for sure that you do not see dreams - it seems so to you! Believe me, it has been tested in practice more than once. It's just that you are most likely too tired in life, you have a too busy daily routine and, for sure, you do not pay attention to your night life!

This is how our life works: attention is energy. Where we direct it, what we concentrate on, then it “manifests itself” in real life. Therefore, it is enough just to devote some time during the day and before bedtime to the thoughts that you are dreaming, you are dreaming about them and you should remember them. As if by magic, after a while, blurry pictures will begin to appear, at first short and faded, and then longer and richer. Waking up after sleep should be done carefully and slowly.

The dreams of the common man are for the most part and mainly the astral plane

If we turn to the theory of the astral plane, then it says that it is inhabited by bad lower beings who are very fond of being saturated with human emotions: fear, hatred, various experiences, and so on. Therefore, they often "play" with us in dreams in order to push the dreamer to a reaction in a dream, and most of these dreams. This is the first thing. Secondly, such dream-games should not be deciphered, they are not useful in anything and do not carry anything in themselves, no matter what you dream: the appearance of Christ, the death of a loved one, unusually symbolic phrases said by someone from a dream.

How to recognize such games?

The simplest thing here is to subject each dream to a cold analysis and not to be afraid / rejoice / upset if something emotionally “snags” you in your dream. With experience, you will understand what type of dream you dreamed, which means whether you should pay attention to it or not.

I will give an example, once I dreamed of God in a rather vivid context of a dream and told me unusual phrases that could be completely taken for prophetic. Since I know how to control (manage) such vivid dreams, I accordingly began to ask him my questions, to which in the end I received completely idiotic answers. And when I started looking on the Internet for the information that he "gave" to me, it turned out to be absolutely nonsense.

What am I doing?

In all dream books and many interpreters, the coming of God is interpreted as something super-important and global, and that such dreams should be treated carefully. Nothing like this. Because:

1) God just does not come to ordinary mortals in a dream. Even angels do not always appear. I will not explain here why this is happening, this is a topic for another article. I ask you to take my word for it.

2) Whatever you dream, be very careful about it. That is why the Bible, for example, says that dreams are from the evil one, and monks generally try to shorten their sleep time so as not to fall into "illusions."

If you have come to the ability to control dreams, then being in a dream, seeing something like that that even in a dream catches you, ask this “miracle” to cross yourself or cross it yourself. If it disappeared or took its original form, it is clear what it was. If not, then the phenomenon can be trusted.

If you are an atheist, then use any other protection before bed or during sleep.

Features of scenes in dreams

The general picture of sleep: saturation, color, plot, character (the predominance of certain symbols or moods) and so on strongly depends on: the phase of the moon, your zodiac sign, your temperament and dominant character traits, as well as on what is in you or your life is imbalanced.

For example, Aries and Scorpions have a tendency to dream with a predominance of violence, blood, conflict. Also, if the liver functions in the body are in an imbalance (the liver is responsible for anger), then in this case, a person will see similar dreams. If he is also quite tough in character (and even has a special love for horror films), then as compensation for the inability to show aggression as much as possible in real life, his subconscious will try to compensate for all this in dreams.

Lions, by virtue of their sunny royal character, see very bright, royally glamorous dreams:) … which in fact do not carry anything special in themselves and denote ordinary everyday situations from their lives.

If a person has an imbalance in life: he is cowardly and constantly gives in to troubles or he feels insecure in public, then he will have dreams characteristic of his state of affairs (with repetitive plots and symbols).

What am I doing?

Besides, you should always pay attention to the general picture of your sleep. For you, it will be completely specific, sharpened strictly for you! When you understand what she is, it will greatly help you in choosing an approach to interpreting sleep.

Dream interpretation

I really want to pay special attention to dream books, which are given undeservedly great importance in society.

As soon as we woke up, immediately running to the dream book to interpret the dream is the biggest stupidity that should be got rid of. Why? I'll explain now.

Dreams are a reflection of YOUR world and yourself in the truest sense of the word. Your subconscious mind communicates with you in this way in its irrational form of storytelling, using symbols that you have already given definitions in real life by default. In addition, as it turned out, through dreams, astral entities play with us, the general picture of sleep is also important, and in a dream we live no less useful life than outside sleep due to the fact that our subconscious does not sleep and spends its own, useful for us and our body work through dreams-compensation, dreams-signs, prophetic dreams (more in the second part).

So, how can a dream book decide for you what it was: compensation, game, sign, prophetic dream *? How can he decide for you that this or that symbol has exactly such and such a definite meaning?

The definitions from the dream book are either too generalized, or they are written by a person using his experience of dreams and associations. All this is not connected with you in any way, although there is a possibility that you will be quite satisfied with his associations.

Therefore, since dreams reflect your world and speak to you in your language, then take up acquaintance with this language. Through associations. Everything is very simple. What do you associate with this or that symbol from a dream? What emotions does it evoke? What does it represent?

For example, for one person, a wolf is a predator and killer, personifies danger, causes fear. For another person, a wolf is a beautiful, strong beast, except for authority and strength, it does not cause any more emotions.

Mom for one person is associated with love and care, and for another - with rudeness, coldness, and in general this person may have seen her little since childhood, and at the word “mother” he will sooner feel pain and feel emptiness inside, as if a lack of something -then. Now open any dream book and see the interpretation of this symbol. What should a person do in the second case? Well, obviously there are discrepancies.

Ideally, make your own dream book based on associations, and also notice what you dream about and what happens after that in your life, especially if symbols and phenomena tend to repeat themselves in a dream from time to time.

There are, of course, so-called archetype symbols. An archetype, in this case, is a symbol that has rather specific associations among a large number of people. Its meaning has already been deposited in the subconscious of the majority and imprinted on the collective unconscious level.

For example, even a small child knows what the sun is, where it is and that it brings warmth, light and joy. Bridge - most people associate with the transition from point A to point B. Most people associate the image of a hero with victory, strength, professionalism, and the like. Thus, if you dreamed of an archetype, then there is little point in being wise with the interpretation, since it has a certain meaning.

It is also worth knowing that the figures from your dream may well denote elements of your personality or sides of your character … in general, you from all possible sides.

For example, a “company” from a dream: you, mom, wolf and hero can be properties of your personality, where you are you, your mom is one of your feminine manifestations in life (tenderness, caring?), Wolf is your aggressiveness, for example, the hero is your power…. here you need to look at the canvas of a dream, your associations, and the accumulated experience will help you understand whether it is worth interpreting such a dream as described above or considering all the elements of a dream in their original meaning, without being tied to your person.

In the second part of the article, you will learn about what types of dreams are, what “sleep management” is, how to order them, and how you can work out problems from real life in a dream. To be continued….

* about the types of sleep in the second part of the article
