The main character Jules, a successful businessman, a woman millionaire. She created her own business from scratch, she lives, breathes and so on. For the sake of his wife's success, Matt's husband abandoned his career and became a housewife. He got a boring, monotonous life, a house - a child - and regret whether he is rightly managing his life. And at some point, a comforter appears.

What are we used to seeing when a family turns into a love triangle? Suffering, torment, tantrums, screams, sometimes suicide attempts, mutual insults, bitter disappointments, broken hearts. In general, it becomes difficult for everyone.

The film provides a startling passage for a seemingly hopeless situation.

All of the above reactions are more about a child's position, about the fact that a woman or a man lived in pink glasses, not understanding something about life at all. "I thought you were decent, but you turned out to be a bastard!" A woman or a man can be crushed by betrayal and deception.

But what kind of adult position does the director open to us in the film?

Jules accidentally finds out about her husband's mistress and gives himself time to realize what is really happening in her family. She does not rush with tears and screams, because she has the strength to withstand this wound. Family and relationships are not a house of cards, why break something that took years and years to break with one scandal? She gives her friend Ben a clear analysis of the situation, reflects, asks the opinion of an unbiased person, this helps her to remember how much she connects with her husband, the difficulties through which she went to her success and his invaluable help.

The main character does not drag herself into her funnel of suffering, therefore she herself does not fall into the victim. Pouring slop on your husband and beating in hysterics is one thing, but having a resource to live with it in order to weigh everything is another. This is no longer the position of a deceived and offended girl, this is quite an adult woman who has found herself in another difficult situation. She has flexible thinking and values. Jules does not bother "I should be with you alone for life", because this is about total control over the inner world of another person. She respects her husband and appreciates their union. How is it shown? In their deep and touching conversation "about us" without accusations, blackmail and threats. An adult woman and an adult man are able to speak openly about their wounds, then the relationship is able to reach a new level. Matt confesses his shame and fears and that he does not at all want his wife's self-sacrifice for his sake. And for this he turns out to be able, thanks to the inner strength of his woman, to give a place next to him to the world of a man, without controlling, without altering, re-educating and driving into templates. Because when one in a pair begins a dizzying success, the other has to give up for some reason, this is how resources and energy are redistributed. And both will be able to withstand this and preserve the relationship, only if decisions and events in the life of the other are made without struggle and horror, but courageously and openly.
