The way we “evaluate ourselves”, that is, our self-esteem is formed on the basis of childhood experience - in adult life we treat ourselves the way our parents and close environment treated us in childhood. If the child has received enough love, acceptance, approval, support, then the foundation of his self-esteem will be strong enough. Of course, throughout life, self-esteem and self-confidence can fluctuate under the influence of various circumstances, but it will take little effort and time to restore it.
