Anna did not want to agree with such an attitude towards her. When it came time to choose a profession, she firmly decided to become an artist. She liked the stage and performed on it. Since childhood, she has taken part in various productions and performances. She heard the opinion of leaders who said that she had talent and needed to be developed. It was her dream. Anna insisted on her own and the parents conceded. She entered the theater institute.

Thus, without noticing it herself, she carried a threat to the established traditions of the family and deprived her of stability. The last straw for her parents was that she agreed to marry a programmer. They have already found a suitable husband for her, who meets the requirements of the family. A young, promising surgeon - why not a couple for her? And it's okay that she doesn't like him, in the name of the family and clan she will endure and fall in love.

It was wild for Anna. She had the feeling that she lived in the Middle Ages, where her daughter was not asked whom she should marry, what to do and how to live. She was angry and rebelled against parental arbitrariness. They wanted to keep in her person a hereditary dynasty of doctors. For her, it was important to live the time given to her the way she wants. Play in performances, and maybe in movies; to love a man, not his profession; to give birth to children and help them, to become who they want to be - she just wanted to be different.

It's a shame. I expect support from my parents, and they criticize me, devalue my aspirations and plans, thinking that their options are better. To whom, if not to them, go with your dream, boast of your ideas and receive blessings and support for their implementation? If my family rejects my aspiration to become who I want to be so much, what can we say about outsiders? Is it safe to trust other people?

What is the difficulty in accepting me as a daughter, and not as a detail for procreation? It's scary to think that I was born to prolong the dynasty of doctors. Something makes me sick …”- Anna got up and quickly went to the toilet, where she vomited.
