The feeling of loss of meaning in life may vary from person to person. Some try to fill the inner emptiness, plunging headlong into certain projects of a universal scale, thus wanting to convince themselves of the meaningfulness of their existence.

Others rush to the other extreme - the denial of everything and everyone, into nihilism. At the same time, they outwardly mock the activities of others, devalue it. And internally they cannot overcome their own state of emptiness, worthlessness and sadness.

Or, even worse, they fall into the so-called vegetative state. That is, they stop fighting altogether, strive for something, they give up in advance, and they no longer expect anything chlrish from life. At this stage, suicide attempts are not excluded, sometimes urgent medical attention is required.

What can you recommend if you find yourself showing signs of this condition? Everything, of course, is very individual. But it never hurts to do what surrounds you, not to dramatize the situation, to try to live in the here and now.

Think of other people - those who are now probably worse off than you. Get a pet, or help a shelter. Find any activity that inspires you, communicate, do not sit within four walls. The clouds will surely disperse, and one day you will be delighted just by the bright morning sun and blue sky outside your window.
