Live consciously - it means choosing your reactions from all possible existing ones. Life is diverse and varied, but from childhood we are taught that it is possible to react to this only negatively, and this is necessarily positive. A person memorizes certain reactions, for example, as an offense, and they become character traits, and then the person ceases to understand how it is possible not to be offended at all.
To live or not to live consciously, everyone decides for himself. When a person lives unconsciously, he becomes a puppet of his own reactions, states and emotions. So who is the man in charge? He himself, if he lives consciously, and his reactions control the person, if unconsciously.
Why live consciously at all? Probably in order to live a joyful, pleasant and happy life.
Where to start if you go to awareness?
1. Start tracking your reactions and stop yourself at the moment of reaction
The reaction always happens in the moment here and now. We control our reactions if we can stop ourselves in time.
Stop, what's going on now?
Stop, why am I now offended, angry, upset?
Stop, can I now stop myself from reacting that does not lead me to awareness?
Stop, how can I react now or not react at all?
2. Set your intention on what you want
For example, before going to bed: Now I fall asleep in a sound and pleasant sleep, and in the morning I wake up vigorous, happy and healthy.
And in the morning: Today my day is calm, easy, pleasant.
By setting an intention, we learn to consciously build the events of our life, to choose the states in which we want to live. We can even set an intention, and what kind of people we want to see in our life, and what events we allow to happen in our life.
3. Take responsibility for your reactions
It means to stop looking for the guilty.
It didn't make me angry, but I chose to get angry. Feel the difference, I have chosen, which means I rule the situation and what is happening to me, which means that at any moment I can change the course of what is happening.
4. Switch the vector of attention to yourself
People get used to judging something or someone. Condemnation becomes habitual, that a person simply does not notice him (and she is tastelessly dressed, and they have ill-mannered children, her husband is unprepossessing, etc.). Condemnation also becomes a character trait.
At such moments, it is important to stop and switch the vector of attention to yourself: Why am I thinking about this? Do I need this information? How do I behave in such situations?
Asking yourself these questions in the moment, you turn your attention to yourself.
Another he is different and has the right to live and be as he wants. Everyone is always responsible only for himself, and condemnation is meaningless, it does not change anyone or anything. Even if a person behaves somehow in a boorish way, or, in your opinion, unfairly to you, you are still responsible only for yourself. You are responsible for your emotions and reactions, you are responsible as you can. You can and will be like a boor, or you can simply understand that a person is now unconscious and thereby not take on the negative of another person, react consciously or not react at all.
Live consciously, it means every second of life to make a choice, what and how to do, speak, react. Choose based on what kind of person you want to be yourself, what kind of life you want to live, and how you want other people to treat you.
Live consciously - means giving yourself the right to control yourself, responsibly realizing that everything in your life is done by your hands, and not someone is responsible for your bad mood or the wrong quality of life.
