Our world from time immemorial is full of prejudice standards that dictate to us what and how to do, how to behave. Of course, this is not bad, because we are all social beings, and in order for the process of interaction in society to be comfortable, we must adhere to the prescriptions.

Moreover, traditions and customs unite representatives of certain nations very strongly on an emotional level.

But there is also another side of the coin. What society imposes on us is not always good for us. And also, given the moment of distortion of the prescriptions of the ancient sages, they can be very harmful.

Therefore, for a happy life and true well-being, we must rely on two points:

  • On prescriptions that are unshakable and tested for centuries;
  • On their own moral values, beliefs, desires and dreams.

Let us recall the examples of women who showed strength of character and will and went against the standards of society, at the risk of being misunderstood, rejected, but who firmly knew and felt what they wanted and followed their hearts.

Elena Kornaro-Priscopia, was the first woman to receive her Ph. D. in 1678.

The first attempts at defense ended in failure; opponents believed that the place of a woman in the church, where she should be silent, but in the end Piskopia obtained permission to defend her doctoral dissertation.

Elizabeth Blackwell is the first woman to receive her M. D. This was in 1849 in the United States.

When the dean, Dr. Charles Lee, conferred her degree on her, he stood up and bowed to Elizabeth.

They showed by their example that the realization of goals and true desires is real, no matter what!

Was it difficult for them to reach them?

Sure!

Was it worth it?

Undoubtedly!

Moreover, achieving their goals, they bring benefit to society not only by their work, but have opened the way for other women to develop and achieve!

How do you feel about fathers who go on maternity leave while the woman is working?

It is difficult for our Slavic mentality to be rebuilt in order to perceive this tendency normally. But if the couple is so good … if they are comfortable with it! So why not, if this particular father has a desire to take care of the child, he has a highly developed paternal instinct and the child receives from him everything necessary in terms of care?

Only by realizing your true desires, only by feeling your real aspiration, as well as your personal destiny, can you feel what we all want to feel in life: happiness and inner peace!

Talk honestly with yourself!

Answer honestly to the question: "What do I really want in this life?"

When you find and feel this answer, boldly take the path of fulfilling your dreams! Go ahead and don't listen to anyone!

And if it's hard, what exactly will be, remember the popular parable about the frog that jumped to the top of the mountain, while everyone else gave up! And she did this not because she was stronger, cooler, more enduring than others! She was just … deaf and did not hear when others shouted to her: “You can't!”, “Come back!”, “It will kill you!”.

I wish you happiness and that all your dreams come true!
