And as a specialist, I will add that one of the most developing (the skill of practical life and self-service; the development of hand-eye coordination; cause-and-effect relationships: I perform actions, and there is less food; spatial thinking: my position and body pattern, my own actions in the process food with continuous consideration of the relationship between dishes and appliances in space; mathematics: subtraction, reducing the amount as a result of action; development of concentration and self-regulation; a sense of independence and competence; development of taste and smell, and if you ask the child whether he likes it, then this is also laying reflections; active position in activity (children who are stuffed every day if the child is ready and able to learn and eat on their own, get used to the passive position (then the entertainment industry will offer them content on the topic “how to motivate yourself”, “how to understand what to want” in photo, audio and video formats).
In adults, in the majority - a request for result.
Such an adult does not know how to be in the process, he expects a quick and budgetary result, and if he succeeds in getting it, he quickly devalues and wants more, thinks of himself in the future (when I will live the way I want …), it is difficult for him to reflect, to be aware of his motives and meanings (all this is in the process and in the experience, and not in a tick opposite the result).
An adult with a focus on results does not see developmental activities in his request, and it can be no less interesting than that of a child (remember how many mental functions are included in a child's lesson; in an adult they are more complex and varied).
If deeper, then adults often do not see developmental activities in life itself, therefore it passes by and is incomprehensible, rarely thinks and reflects not very much, sounds monotonous, with rare results in the form of moving or replenishment in the family. The request for the meaning of life can also be associated with the inability to be in the process of life.
It turns out that a child asks for a fishing rod, and an adult asks for a fish. How did this change of interest come about?
Perhaps in those numerous situations when instead of the child they did what it was time for him to master.
The good news is, if you want to, it's not forever.
