100% of people can be hypnotized.

But 20% are not susceptible to hypnosis either at the moment, or this is their life position, not necessarily conscious, as well as attitudes in the subconscious, for example, due to upbringing (conditioning) in childhood.

This does not mean that these people cannot be hypnotized, it means that they simply do not want to be hypnotized at this point in time. After all, you cannot hypnotize by force.

There can be a million reasons for "unwillingness" to be hypnotized, for example, in childhood, my grandmother diligently scared with gypsies and hypnosis, and later the tabloids confirmed these data, increasing their circulation. Those. in fact, hypnotization took place, the essence of which is not to succumb to hypnosis. So to speak, so that "no one gets it." The fact that such a position would be extremely unhelpful in life was of no concern to anyone.

All it takes for it to work for you is to be willing to accept the suggestion, i.e. be receptive.

For example, if you are given the suggestion to commit theft and bring the hypnotist the proceeds, you will only do this if you are an experienced thief, and if so, then you are unlikely to bring the hypnotist the proceeds. And in order to give such suggestions, you do not need to be a hypnotist, such suggestions are given to each other all the time: someone is invited to play a trick on someone, tease, swear, substitute a person or vice versa, congratulate, surprise, paint an oil painting to order, to study "for fives", etc., etc. All these "suggestions in reality" are fulfilled when the person being hypnotized is not against such suggestions.

- this is what happens to each of us every day. Suggestions are given to you - and you accept them if you want. Some suggestions are accepted, while others may be rejected if they do not correspond to your essence.

During the day, we constantly flow from one trance state to another.

A classic example: while driving a car or doing any other thing, you suddenly fall out of time and do not remember in all the details how you did most of the work, for example, drove a long segment on the way: time passed so quickly - it was a trance. This does not mean that you have forgotten everything.

If you hear the first notes of a long forgotten song and suddenly start singing it, this is also a trance. Here, on the contrary, you seem to remember. In both cases, nothing happened to the memory: it remained unchanged.

If you watch a movie and are completely immersed in viewing so that nothing around you exists, as if you yourself are a part of the movie - this is trance. You are unlikely to forget this movie anytime soon. The same applies to an interesting book - when the whole world disappears, only you and the scenes from the book come to life in your imagination.

Didn't you cry for an hour while watching a movie, reading a book?

Although your consciousness understood that you are in a movie theater, or sitting at home in an armchair, your unconscious took the characters, the actors, for real ones. This is a state of hypnotic influence. Have you slept? No, you were fully conscious. Was your will controlled? No, you were guided through the plot, and you yourself aroused emotions, and when the lights came on in the hall or when the book was put aside, the hypnosis session is over: empty popcorn bags can be put in the trash can when you leave the hall.

If you have a car, imagine the hooligans have just smeared it with hot pink paint. Most likely, you will not like this color.

Just now, you most likely accepted my suggestion and imagined your car repainted. Or rejected it - because you don't have a car.

It was you, not me for you, who made the decision to use your own and imagined a car. And no hypnotherapist can make you imagine, or do, whatever you want: it's only your business and right.

Why?

Because anyone is, in fact, self-hypnosis directed by a hypnotherapist, i.e. you decide which settings to accept and which not.

Immersion in hypnosis is accomplished not by "magical" actions, but by scientifically substantiated simple instructions from the hypnotherapist, following which you will find yourself in this state of consciousness.

Mental illness is a contraindication to hypnosis. But even if they are available, your healthcare provider may refer you to a hypnotherapist.

You should not turn to such a hypnotherapist, which you do not like or cause some suspicion, in hypnotherapy there should be complete confidence in the hypnotherapist. On the other hand, if you don't trust all people, then you need to choose the one you trust the most.
