In half and in half.

In this terribly tedious and long article for some, I propose to speculate a little about the split figure of the anima in the dreams of men. Yes, for my convenience I will consider the male / anima model, because she is naturally closer to me, and I have some material from my male clients bringing their dreams to the session. Rather, it is a generalized conclusion from a small quotient.

So, there is a certain phenomenon that manifests itself in the dreams of men, in which I (generalize in my face of men) dream of the image of the anima presented in a dream by a woman. Again, for convenience, I will consider this particular model, that the woman who dreamed of me is my feminine part of the soul - anima, and all actions that take place in a dream are elements of the relationship between me (I) and my anima. I want to dwell on the moment when in a dream the anima is represented as a split pair: woman / woman and woman / man. I am interested in the question whether the presence of these pairs is evidence of a split anima, and whether both pairs are really split anima. I will make a reservation right away that I have no answers to my questions, therefore, I will make the assumption that this is anima, and that there are two ways of splitting, in half and in two.

If we consider a woman / woman couple, then often they are either the same women, or the man who sees this dream indicates equality in his feelings and attitude towards these two women. It was as if the woman had been split in half, thus forming two identical parts. But what then is the point of such a splitting in this case, because splitting is aimed at reducing the influence of the "bad" part of the object by splitting it from the "good" part of the object and then merging the I with the good part of the object (here is a simplified vision of the splitting process). In the case when the anima is split with the formation of identical parts, the I, nevertheless, neutralizes the threatening effect of a bad object, but with some possibility of jumping from one part to another, or with the impossibility of merging with any of the parts due to their similarity. Honestly, for me today this is an area of darkness, because personally I perceive this type of splitting as a kind of impossibility to carry out the act of splitting itself, how to cut off the head of a snake gorynych, because in place of the severed head, two new ones will grow. This is how I perceive this type of splitting, as if the pain is so strong that the blow of the splitting anesthetic sword only led to an increase in pain, more precisely, to its increase, and I, experiencing pain, have nowhere to go, this is getting into the environment. But again, these split parts of the anima in a dream deal with the I, in a protective-playing model, like a cat and a mouse, but this game is interesting only to those who know the rules of the game.

When in contact with the female / male split anima model, I can apply the formulation in two. When the body is dissected with a clear division into a head and a penis (because the head goes to the woman, and the penis to the man), a kind of alternative appears, a counterbalance in the form of something "anti" in relation to anime, and this is the animus. Again, this pair excites me no less than the previous one, tk. here the variability is open and is represented by various combinations depending on the type and degree of the traumatic event or the characteristics of the object that generated the splitting. It can be a wise old woman / naive baby boy, a young virgin / a wise old man, or some indifferent woman / man. In my understanding, this type of splitting just implements the above-described splitting method with the possibility of merging the self with the split animus (as I see it this way) and opposing this dyad to anime. In this case, a man / woman couple encountered in a dream play out among themselves those conflicts that are forced out of the I, while involving the I in these relations with the formation of a triad, which, in my subjective opinion, is capable of stabilizing the ailing dyad. Those. as a rule, this couple in a dream give an idea to the dreamer about his real unrealizable need for a relationship with his anima, which is realized in a dream.

I want to note that all of the above is not any theory or motivation for action, these are my own observations and conclusions drawn from these observations. These are my thoughts, and they may (and so yes, they will) do not coincide with the knowledge known to other people.
