Our culture with the New City as a holiday is associated with many interesting traditions, rituals, including the preparation of a large number of dishes for the festive table. As a child, I heard “I’ll meet the New Year, so you’ll spend it,” and why was it believed that good spending of the next year would be to stuff like an elephant and lie in front of the TV, eating everything that you didn’t eat at night?

What's the problem?

Two directions of analysis can be distinguished here: the relationship with food and the relationship with money. Today we will talk about the latter.

Let's take a look at three important points, they are also psychosomatic:

- Spending more money than you can afford. Saving the whole year, the client allows himself to "come off" in honor of the holiday, buying products that are not always needed, and which do not want, but some unwritten traditions require it. To pay tribute to the ritual, a person raises the level of tension, fear, anxiety, because earlier he forbade himself to spend, and this is also a forced waste. For as sometimes you hear "I don't need it, but suddenly someone will come, what people will say." The New Year begins with worries, emptiness, and well, if not debt. Playing my game "Money Scenario" we just get to the level of the body, where it turns out that money can be spent either on food or on pills. This is the difference between everyday life and a holiday.

- Fear of emotions. We are accustomed from generation to generation to be with this festive table, and everything seems cool, but … If a family leads a rather closed lifestyle, does not leave the "home-work" program, we can talk about the fear of receiving joy from the world, fear of impressions. And here is an excuse from himself like "New Year, you need a bunch of products" is just the source of the drain. The same reason is the basis for "not earning". In this case, food is the safest and most familiar way to get joy.

- Manipulation of traditions. It's nice to celebrate the New Year with family and friends. Still, it's great if it's a personal decision. But there are families where parents or older family members are hyper-controlling and condemning the younger generation. I say in this case "a rich slave of relatives", where all opportunities except not to be near a relative are condemned, and the child's earnings are perceived by others as a "duty to invest in relatives ". It's a matter of personal boundaries, motivation, and self-worth. Sometimes the client himself "pours" his opportunities, knowing that the more he earns, the more he will owe.

Let your holiday be the way you want it. More health and money for you.
