Every person in his life, at least once, had to face doubts. The choice "to do or not to do" and in which direction to go is very exhausting a person emotionally and many people do not even want to think about any changes in their lives, just not to run into this choice.

So where does the doubt come from?

Doubt appears when changes occur in our usual and comfortable life (far from always good and ideal). This can be a change of job or opening a business, moving to another city or country, in general, something new and unusual, in which we have little experience (or no experience at all) and no proven action plan.

The second component of doubt is fear. Fear - in this context, it is a natural defense of what a person has already achieved to this day, he wants to protect and preserve what he already has. Fear of an unknown future and the opinions of others.

There are also “kind people” in our life. As soon as you want to make changes in your life, they are right there, with their questions, as they walk with seeds in our field of life and sow doubts: "What if you burn out in your business?" "What if it doesn't work out?" "How will the family react?" "Or maybe it's better not to change anything?" etc.

How does doubt affect a person?

Doubt makes a person unsure of themselves and their ideas. People stop hearing themselves and their inner voice, and listen more to the opinions of others (as if they know better how you live). It becomes difficult to understand where you and your opinion are, and where the “noise” of others is. And the person begins to trust others more and loses his identity.

Also, doubt is a huge time eater. Too much of this valuable resource is wasted on reflection, reflection, "weighing" all the pros and cons. In addition to time, a person spends his energy and strength, but there are no actions and progress.

So how do you deal with doubts?

There are six ways:

1) Listen and hear yourself! Only you yourself know what kind of life suits you and what you want to achieve.

2) Understand that doubts are needed! It is doubts that help us analyze the situation from different angles and collect the necessary information.

3) Define a clear time for doubt. Set a specific date, before which you can collect all the necessary information and make a decision. The shorter the period, the more effective.

4) Make a decision that is important for YOU and define it as correct. Believe me, in any direction, whatever you choose, you will find like-minded people.

5) Work on your doubts on your own by asking yourself questions:

"Who or what is in doubt?"

"What exactly am I doubting?"

"What fears are hidden by doubt?"

“What needs to be done to overcome fear? And are they justified, my fears?"

"What good and what bad will be from my actions?"

Etc.

6) The already familiar technique of "Descartes' square" can also help many to cope with doubts and make the right choice.
