I wrote this article under the impression of T. V. Chernigov "Language, Consciousness, Genes". The topics that were touched upon there have lived in me for a long time and came to life while listening to the lecture. They really came to life and began to develop independently and take shape in a text, and I only testified and managed to somehow memorize. I was not even able to intervene in this process, although sometimes I wanted to add something or argue. Then I designed this text in the form of abstracts, which you can get acquainted with.

Abstracts

  • Reality is integral and indivisible, in which consciousness and matter are different facets of a single reality, distinguishable only by the level of "subtlety", as a sound or color spectrum. They are not in any logical subordination to each other, existing at the same time.
  • Language is a phenomenon born in the course of the interaction of consciousness and matter, as a necessity that can reflect their interaction and, possibly, themselves.
  • Before talking about language as an instrument of communication or an instrument of cognition, it must be said that language is a way of fixing the interaction of matter and consciousness. When this interaction is fixed, it can be used, and this can become a prerequisite for either communication or cognition.
  • Thinking / reasoning cannot exist without language, it is born by it, turning into a creative act. Likewise, language cannot remain unused; it is a prerequisite for creativity. At the same time, the forms of creation can be different, as well as the languages that fix the interaction of matter and consciousness. (Music, Science, painting, etc.)
  • Then consciousness enters into interaction with language, as with an aspect of reality, and uses it not to reflect the interaction of consciousness and matter, but for creation, creation.
  • Man is a materialized language, since both sides of reality are accessible to him alone, man, as an organ of language. Through the brain he feels consciousness, through the senses - matter. Man is an organ experiencing the interaction of the matter of consciousness. A person cannot but speak, i.e. do not create.
  • Probably, here we can talk about two functions of the language: descriptive and creative. Descriptive exists to fix the events of the objective world and the interaction of consciousness with the objective world. This function serves communication. And there is a creative function of language that creates acts of creation and discovery of something new. Here man is somewhat godlike, he is a creator.
  • “In the beginning there was a word, and the word was with God, and the word was God” - in the context of the above it becomes rationally explainable, here about the divine nature of man. Here the word is language and God is consciousness / man. "At first, speech arose, consciousness gave birth to it, and man was speech."
