The already commonplace phrase “we all come from childhood”
What good was there in this childhood? Addiction to adults, obligatory duties, exams at school, getting up early in the morning every day, knocked knees, nasty high school students, and then annoying youngsters. But! All this was compensated by the ease of perception of life, games, strong disinterested friendship, vacations, love and care of relatives.
What has changed as we matured?
We have addictions (on smoking, alcohol, money, gadgets, etc.), we have a lot of responsibilities to our bosses and family, constant life exams for endurance and vitality, daily climbs to work, chronic fatigue syndrome and a bunch of other ailments, nasty colleagues and leaders, no less nasty and stupid subordinates. In short: nothing much has changed.
But! Many of us have lost joy. We have forgotten how to be funny just like that, we have stopped playing and relaxing (addiction to computer games and alcoholic gatherings do not count), we have forgotten how to love friends just because we have them! We even forget to love our relatives, or, in the endless vanity and pursuit of blessings, we forget that we love. We have forgotten how to rest!
How many of you don't take your phone and laptop on vacation? Admit it to yourself: how long can I last without the Internet? Yes, the withdrawal will begin in a couple of hours! What if someone liked my photo, but I don't know! And what kind of news is there, who did something to whom, when and with whom? How to live without this information ?! And you open your laptop on the beach and eagerly read it all, like and comment. Meanwhile, in the sky … A flock of colorful birds flew by, against the background of a cloud in the shape of a boat … They chirped merrily and chased each other, played tag and leapfrog. But a stag beetle stomped importantly past. Its glossy black back flashed in the sun. And nearby, in the bushes, a kitten frolics merrily. He has caught a large white butterfly and is trying to lick it! What a scream! But at this time you are watching a video about a stupid prank of a drunk guy. And the kitten, meanwhile, ran up to you and rubbed against your leg, calling for a game. You repulse him with disgust and continue to look at something and endlessly like … And the kitten, not paying attention to you, continues selflessly chasing the butterfly. And he's happy! And there are happy birds in the sky. And somewhere nearby, kids and their parents are frolicking, they rush for a red, blue striped ball and squeal with delight. The youngest has a knee knocked down, but he doesn't cry! He is so happy that the knee healed instantly and does not bother him at all. And your son's knees are safe and sound. He sits next to you wearing glasses and plays an educational game on his tablet … And scoliosis is treated with massages …
And then the Internet hangs … You hear the squeals and cries of a cheerful family, the purring of a kitten, the rustling of beetles, the chirping of birds and the sound of water … You suddenly realize that you have been so lonely and sad all these years … You are so tired … You get up, stretch, take the tablet away from the child, grab his hand and run to that very funny family, ask them to play. You are received with delight, and immediately the ball flies into the hands of your surprised son. He starts laughing and throws the ball to you! You, too, are covered with a wave of joy and happiness … And tears on your cheeks … And you want to scream! Here it is, real childhood! And life is just beginning!
