The fate of a person is the deployment of those scenarios and attitudes that live in his unconscious. Everything that you have in life, all the problems, successes, failures, victories and defeats are not so much the merit of your personal conscious efforts as the result of the actions of your unconscious. Everything that surrounds you (people, environment) is also the result of your unconscious aspirations. Therefore, you can change friends, work and partners as much as you like, but the result will still be the same stereotyped.

Genuine life change is a change in the complex of unconscious programs and scenarios ("firmware") that create undesirable results on strategies and attitudes that will lead you to those states and acquisitions that you really need. This is "flashing".

1

The unconscious creates your destiny

The overwhelming majority of life strategies, which then went to the level of the unconscious, were formed in tender childhood as a result of certain decisions. The decisions that the child made for psychological self-defense. For example, the decision to run away from problems and troubles, which then gave rise to the corresponding "escape strategy". Or the decision to suppress your aggression, so as not to be punished and not to lose your mom's love.

But if for a child of 8-10 years old to run away was the only optimal way to avoid mental or physical injury, then for a person who has crossed the 20-year milestone, such a strategy does not bode well. You want to build a relationship with the person you like, but the unconscious says: “Run away!”; they make you an interesting business proposal or offer you a cool job, but the unconscious whispers “run!”; you run into some small problem and immediately turn on "run away!". And you run away from the problem that rushes after you, growing like a snowball.

Money problems, business problems, relationship problems, health problems, self-esteem problems, and many other problems did not arise out of nowhere. They were created by you in the process of implementing your unconscious strategies, which are recorded in your current firmware.

Revision of all these unconscious strategies and scenarios is serious work that requires an attentive and honest look at yourself from the outside. It is clear that it is better to involve a professional in this business, because any person, instead of really changing himself, is inclined to imitate work on himself. Not because he is lazy and weak-willed, but simply because this is how psychological defenses work.

How to stop running in circles

Form your own point of view on a particular phenomenon, circumstance, person, situation, object, group, etc. - the process is quite laborious. It is necessary to carefully study the question, "to separate the wheat from the chaff", ie. facts from interpretations, to compose a coherent, consistent picture from verified facts. It's much easier to take someone else's opinion and decide to make it yours.

This is exactly what we are used to doing since childhood.

At first, for us, our parents were the authorities and we adopted their "picture of the world", then kindergarten teachers and school teachers, the street and gateways, TV and the Internet came in their place. And together with them, a gigantic stream of myths, stereotypes, assessments, opinions, illusions, delusions, schiza and outright lies poured into our consciousness and unconsciousness, on the basis of which we formed our own beliefs and updated the "picture of the world."

And then, on the basis of this inadequate picture of the world, we began to make the same inadequate decisions. For example, the decision to go to university and get a useless specialty, instead of learning something really necessary and practical in the process. The decision to start a family with a person who is completely unsuitable for us. The decision to invest in a deliberately unprofitable or fraudulent project. And so on and so forth.

But this is not so bad. The inadequacy of the current "firmware" leads to the fact that you do not see the opportunities that life throws up to you every day and are unable to fit into the changes and changes that are taking place in the world. As a result, all the chances are passing by, and all you have to do is scratch your head in confusion, wondering that others have managed to "jump on the last carriage" and they are moving forward with might and main in projects where "the way is ordered" for you.

All this leads to the fact that, even if you sincerely want to change, because you cannot stay the same, instead of real changes, you start walking in the labyrinth, constantly returning to where you started recently or several years ago. Vicious circle. Can you get out of it? Can!

On the one hand, everything seems to be simple - we "slip" cyclical unconscious scenarios, change our unconscious attitudes, clear our heads of schiza and life becomes easier, life becomes more fun. The only question is in practical implementation - how to do it? And here such a "beast" as systemic metaphorical processing will help us. Do not be intimidated by the intricate name, everything is actually quite simple.

Systemic metaphorical processing

The structure of the psyche of any person can be symbolically designated as an iceberg, where 5% (and in most cases no more than 3%) is consciousness, the “tip of the iceberg”, and 95-97% is the unconscious, “the underwater part of the iceberg”. In life, this turns into the fact that we control only 3-5% of our conscious actions (thoughts, words, deeds, etc.), and the remaining 95% are implemented according to the schemes, scenarios and algorithms of the unconscious (for example, any habits).

Freud has a metaphor on this score of a rider (consciousness) and a horse (unconscious). The horse rushes wherever he wants (or from where he does not want to be), and the rider is forced to pretend that he is supposed to go there. Although, in fact, he would like the horse to carry him to another place.

The main problem with the unconscious is the inability of a person to communicate with it. We are accustomed to communicating with each other on a conscious level at the level of words (i.e. verbally), while with the unconscious we should communicate, as they say, “in its language,” and its language, let's say, is non-verbal (images-symbols, bodily and emotional sensations), which can be understood through metaphors - verbal constructions that most accurately reflect experiences.

Only at this level can one effectively communicate and work with the unconscious.

Therefore, a typical professional advice when setting a goal is to visualize the final desired result, to present the goal in the form of a concrete and tangible image. This is done for one simple reason - so that the goal is perceived at the level of the unconscious and turns from an euphonious declaration into a real guide to action. Only in this case, 95% of your actions will begin to move you towards the goal.

The same is the case with unconscious programs (attitudes). For example, a person has a feeling that he expresses with a metaphor - "I am constantly being torn to pieces." This is the acting unconscious scenario. That is, the unconscious will 95% do everything so that a person in his real life is “torn”, as they say, “to pieces” - for example, they take away money, resources, time, load all sorts of contradictory and mutually exclusive demands and requests. The person will feel that he is "torn apart" and the unconscious will be satisfied - the script is being executed.

To get rid of (deactivate and transform) such a scenario, it is necessary to change the metaphor "I am constantly being torn apart" into something else, more comfortable and productive - for example, "I fly like a bird in the clouds." Then a new scenario will be launched in the unconscious, the meaning of which will be to do everything to make a person feel like a “bird in the clouds”.

The process of changing metaphors is called processing. In essence, processing itself is working with unconscious processes to correct them in the direction you need. You can do the appropriate work under the guidance of an experienced facilitator within the framework of spiritual processing.

But there is a difference between processing and processing. You can do the process chaotically, at random, walking around and around, not noticing key details and nuances, or you can do it systemically, taking into account the most important cycles and connections with a full understanding of how it works (and everything in the world, including the unconscious, one way or another, but obeys the system logic). Therefore, real metaphorical processing is systemic.

The origins of false targets

But it is not enough to understand how to change your life, you need to understand exactly where. The idea is banal, but it is on it that almost everyone stumbles. They stumble because instead of real goals they draw illusions for themselves and start chasing mirages. Answering the question: "What do I really want?" you will inevitably face a deep lie to yourself. This lies is a deep unconscious mechanism of psychological defense against the recognition of inconvenient and self-traumatic facts of his biography.

For example, the child's parents were not very good and honest people, but they desperately wanted to appear as such. Which was broadcast to the child. And every time, when the cub, discovering the specific fact of the parents' discrepancy with the picture they declared, tried to discuss it, it was not a wave that fell upon him, but a whole tsunami of the most damned hysteria, which the little man was simply unable to resist.

He could not tell his parents the truth, but he could not bear to live with this truth either (an adult cannot cope with this, let alone a child). Therefore, a natural defense was developed - to lie to oneself that “white is black”, i.e. parents are still honest and good people, not scum and brute. The example is deliberately exaggerated in order to explain the operation of this mechanism as clearly as possible. In life, not all parents are scoundrels, but they all lie to their children in one way or another.

Further, the first decision was followed by the second, then the third, and now the child has learned to explain the facts of his biography as it is more convenient for him, and not as it really is. This lies becomes the basis, the basis of that inadequate picture of the world on the basis of which an already grown person is trying to build his life, setting certain goals that, at best, are compensation (“I will create a cool business and make a lot of money, and then I will have the right to feel themselves well”), and at worst - by wiring from the side of interested structures, groups and personalities.
