Recently, many people complain that they do not have time to do anything, everything annoys them - the husband is bad, the boss is angry, the children are angry (they do not do what they want), there is a lot of stress, tasks at work, you need to have time to complete everything on time and control, sometimes you have to finish work at home. In all this stress, increased irritability, as if it is impossible to stop, sometimes reaches a neurotic level. So how do you reduce stress levels, learn to control and manage them?

The first challenge is to learn not to stop stress. Our life is rich and energetic, and you should be able to understand your feelings and needs, and use this to manage your stress.

Many of us perceive stress at the level of an external factor - for example, a bad husband, earns little, returns home late, does not answer messages and calls, a bad lazy wife who does not cook food, a tyrant boss, it is impossible to talk to him normally, because he always screams. Everything that you call stress, everything that brings you pain and discomfort, is in your head. Let's check how true this is. Find the answer in your head for the next sentence.

Get rid of everything that annoys you: a bad husband / wife - divorce, a bad boss - quit, wrong place of residence - immigrate.

The majority answer will be “No” (“I don’t want this!”, “I cannot do this”, “I will not”, “I am afraid”, “This is difficult!”, “Who am I at all ?! And how can I do it? ? No! ). And, in fact, you cannot do that, but if you do decide, you will find something to complain about after moving to another country or when you have a new husband / wife.

So, the stress is in your head, for some reason you need the stress to be outside and bother you, but in reality everything is inside. In your mind, something bothers you, inside there is pain, trouble. Probably, we are talking about deep psychological trauma, with which it is necessary to deal with and reduce their level, then the level of stress from above will be less.

The next step is to be sure to think through all the possible stressors (plan your day, your interactions with other people, your reactions to their words and what might go wrong). If you plan, it will be easier for you to deal with unexpected turns of events. The most interesting thing is that most of you are aware of what will happen, but do not think about the future. For example, you know how your boss will react to another tardiness, but nevertheless you are late and have not thought about the option of communicating with him, if the tardiness cannot be prevented. You know that you will have a conflict with your wife, but you do not change your behavior. You know that your husband earns to the best of his ability, but you keep complaining and feeling stressed about it. You understand that the husband will once again ask where his socks are, but you continue to be nervous, instead of fixing something. Here you need to realize one important point - if you tried to correct the situation several times, but the other side does not change, you should change your reaction and not perceive all this as stress (This is how it will be, this is such a person, and it is impossible to change him. Why be nervous then?).

You need to think over absolutely all the options for stressful situations of the current day (for example, you are going to an interview - think over all the questions that a recruiter may ask you). The main thing is to carefully assess your problem (is it really repeating from day to day / every week or month and causing you stress?). Try to make your life easier, and not drive yourself constantly into a stressful state, and then complain to everyone about your fatigue. Below are a few more examples.

1. If you every day, going to work, lose your keys, think about where you could hang them, over time your brain will get used to it, and you will not be constantly looking.

2. Your children love to play with the same keys, and then you cannot find them - do not let them do it.

3. You forgot your documents before departure and had to return home - write a list, laminate it and leave it in a conspicuous place, then you can quickly put things together without thinking about forgetting something.

Take responsibility and figure out how to avoid stressful situations in the future. This approach will allow you to conserve your energy resource and reduce your stress levels.

And the last step - be condescending, kind to yourself, do not forget that you are a human being, and people tend to make mistakes, forget, get into some difficult situations. You cannot calculate everything to the smallest detail, plan every minute of your time, not everything can be foreseen. That is why take the subsequent mistakes and stressful situations as experiences ("That's it, now I will know how to behave"). Yes, in real life, you may not immediately get a beautiful picture drawn by your imagination, but you will already have a plan, and perhaps improve it over time.

So, treating your stress in life every time consciously and deliberately, analyzing the situation as a whole and the possible consequences, sooner or later you will learn how to reduce the level of stress. An important point - you can't scold yourself, move a little towards your intended goal, and everything will work out!
