Let's say there are two people, let's call them me and you, and a dialogue takes place between them.
Let's say there is a space between me and you, a space of transference and countertransference.
Can it be argued in this case that space is endowed with some autonomous functions that are capable of influencing the dialogue between me and you, on transference and countertransference, on interpretations, is autonomous and capable of influencing the process of transference and countertransference? I think yes.
I propose to take a model of a triad and place me and you, and this space in a triad. Accordingly, you and I can form a dyad, and the space of transfer and countertransference can be the third and complement the triad.
As you know, the third is the figure of the father, which by its presence autonomously influences the process of transference and countertransference between me and you, between mother and child, between child and the world.
In this case, the field of transference and countertransference, in my understanding, will contain elements, perhaps, one can even say that it will be some kind of projection of God, some archetype of unattainable mind, which I am unable to comprehend, but to which I always strive (there is meaning the archetype of God).
If we return to the theory of transference and countertransference, in this case, the process of transference itself is a metaphor for incest, and if we are talking about the field in which this is carried out, then, of course, here we can note the presence of this third, which influences the process of transference.
With all of this, I want to say that either the analytical space, or the Internet, through which analytical work has been carried out recently, or simply, the space around you, this is all a projection of the father archetype or the archetype of the cognizable mind. We can say that this is the archetype of God, which is able to influence me and you indirectly.
I mean that the space of transference and countertransference, perhaps, plays its role in the triad and, accordingly, is an integral part of the dialogue between me and you, carrying the elements that stabilize this dialogue.
That is, we can say that the space of transference and countertransference ensures the security of the dialogue, the impossibility of incest.
The presence in the form of a third gives some stop signal, which we will always pay attention to, this is a kind of clipboard that simultaneously serves as the basis for both you and me. If we remove this space from our consciousness, then we will certainly slide into fusion and carry out incest, that is, we make the process of restoration (rebirth, healing) impossible, meaning that when we stop perceiving the field of transference and countertransference, then we stop pay attention to sensory experience coming from the surrounding space, pay attention to the sensation that we have formed on this sensory experience, when we stop paying attention to our own unconscious reactions, then we remove the third from the triad and fall into a relationship in which incest is possible, that is, in which transference and countertransference cease to be phenomena of the unconscious and become part of consciousness.
I think that in the field of transference and countertransference we are faced with a phenomenon when the unconscious contacts our consciousness, and in such a way that we cannot influence and understand the content of the transferred, we can only perceive its manifestations and we cannot influence it.
I consider this to be the central idea of everything that I described earlier, that the transference and countertransference carried out is an archetype of God, capable of transferring unconscious elements into our consciousness that we are fundamentally unable to perceive in their primordial essence,but we can only track their influence on our consciousness, thus, as if closing the scene of the oedipal conflict, so that the resolution of the incestuous drive, and hence the resolution of the transference and countertransference situation, is possible only directly in the field of transference and countertransference, that is, in the field of influence of the father figure, which cannot be realized in the field of transference and countertransference, but which is the basis of this process.
