Meditation is very popular these days. The word "meditation" has many meanings and it is very difficult to fit such a broad concept into one definition. Any unambiguous explanation will not be sufficient to accommodate all the possibilities of meditation. This is a method, technique, practice, state, exercise, a way of self-regulation. The possibilities of meditation are very wide. With the help of meditation, you can get an answer to a question of interest, "order" the fulfillment of a desire. Meditation can be used to overcome a difficult period in life, for self-knowledge and self-development, as well as helping another person, clearing negative thoughts, introducing a new life program, rebooting, and that's not all

The practice of meditation includes: concentration of attention, relaxation of the body, conscious control of your attention.

Concentration of attention needs to be learned gradually and from this you begin to master the practice of meditation.

Here's the simplest exercise to get you started:

1. Lie on a sofa or any comfortable surface, close your eyes and direct your attention to your body. Transfer your attention from your toes to your feet, legs, knees, hips. Feel your glutes, genitals, and lower abdomen. Then - the area of the solar plexus, chest, back, lower back. Walk your attention along the entire spine from the bottom up, feel the area between the shoulder blades, the back of the head. Turn your attention to the scalp, go over all the muscles of the face: forehead, eyebrows, eyes, temples, wings of the nose, mouth. This exercise can be done several times during the day when you have a free minute.

2. Imagine that you see yourself lying. Look at yourself from the outside.

3. Return to body sensations again. Pay attention: in which part of the body there is still tension, relax it. You can relieve tension by imagining that you are directing the warmth of a color that is pleasant to you there. Or you can imagine breathing through the part of your body that is tense. Do not force yourself to relax, just observe and allow all sensations, all thoughts to be. The thoughts that will periodically arise in your head, note and release. Imagine that they smoothly flow in front of you - like clouds, smoke, balloons, or something like that. You will have your own idea.

Relaxation is achieved in a variety of ways. Feeling of heaviness or lightness, warmth in the body. The idea that the body dissolves into darkness or becomes transparent. To cope with incoming thoughts, you can imagine that a light bulb turns on in your head and a bright light spills out. Believe me, thoughts will scatter like cockroaches.

Relaxation and concentration is achieved with special breathing. At first, you just watch your breathing, paying attention to how cool air enters through your nostrils and, warmer, spent, unnecessary, exits as you exhale. And so on up to 10 breathing cycles. It is good to then add breath holding on inhalation and exhalation. For example, hold your breath for 4 counts as you inhale and for 6 counts as you exhale.

Depending on the purpose of your meditation, you can stop at this stage. For example, if you need to relax in the middle of a working day, reboot with an excess of information, tune in to a new day in the morning, cope with stress. With regular exercise like this, over time, your quality of life will improve dramatically.

Your meditation time can last from 5 to 40 minutes. As you wish. With the development of the skill of meditation, you can manage these times. How much is, for so much and get the result. Even in a few minutes, you can reboot your brain, improve concentration and tune in to work, remove negative emotions that prevent you from being effective at the moment.

There are additional tools that you can use to immerse yourself in meditation deeper, faster, and more purposefully. These are: candles, essential oils, crystals. More on this later.

In order to get something in your life (to fulfill your intention, desire, plan), you need to go through four stages. 1) You need to want (imagine what exactly you want), 2) then, create a plan (pave the path to implementation in your imagination), 3) take an action in reality, 4) get the result in reality, use it (that is, use it appointment by what they have received).

The second part of meditation can be the purposeful solution of your problems. Imagine yourself during meditation as you want to be.

In the second part, depending on the tasks set by you, you are engaged in visualization. If it is difficult to imagine, the imagination is not sufficiently developed, this is not a hindrance. You just need to know then that it is or that it will come true.

This can be both acquiring what you need and getting rid of what you do not need. Most often, we want to get rid of interfering character traits, negative emotions, conditions, illness. Do not forget that if you change something in your life, then this is not only an acquisition, but also parting with something that is included in your present state, your present world.

So, I will give a few examples of using additional means to enhance the effect of meditation.

Candles … I will not go into details about all the possibilities of candles for regulating the state and getting what you want, which can be represented by a whole set of practical exercises, since this is beyond the scope of this article. I will confine myself to the fact that we can use candles as a component of comfort, warmth, coziness. Lighting a candle plus a pleasant aroma will create the right atmosphere.

Essential oils. Use them both in aroma lamps and by dropping a few drops on your wrist, whiskey, or on a cotton pad that you can put next to it. Oil can be added to water and sprayed through a spray bottle indoors.

Which oils to choose? To get rid of fears, ylang-ylang oil is suitable, to cleanse bad energy (this concept includes a feeling of incomprehensible discomfort), use patchouli or wormwood oil. If you need to concentrate, bitter orange oil, yarrow oil is suitable. If you need to "nourish" a new business with energy, then take the oil of jasmine, mint. If you want to reboot, then use coniferous smells or any scent you like. If your meditation is aimed at harmonizing relationships, then rose, rosewood, frangipani oils are well suited.

These are rough general guidelines that are good to use in your meditation practice. This is a collection of fragrances for all occasions. You will collect your own, but to start practicing meditation, you can build on these recommendations.

Crystals. You can use both raw (if you want to adjust your energy) and any processed stones you like (pyramids, steles, tumbling, balls) - something that will be pleasing to the eye and be a kind of ritual attribute, an anchor, in the language of NLP to enter the state of meditation. The following is an example of a set of crystals that you can start using to regulate your condition and control the processes in your life.

Hematite and heliotrope - use when you need your ideas to come true, and not remain just an idea. If you feel fear, self-doubt, then take pyrite, jasper. In order to bring the matter to the end, you need to "feed" your will-sit - use yellow quartz. With irritability, dissatisfaction with sexual relations, carnelian, tourmaline, calcite are suitable. For good emotionally close relationships, without which it is impossible to feel your life full and fulfilled, you can use green malachite, rose quartz, jade.

Crystals can be picked up and held, or laid out in front of you during meditation.

For now, to write this article, I am using bitter orange oil. Before writing, for tuning, I worked with crystals - jasper, quartz and tourmaline. I wrote the article in one breath. Which is what I wish for you in your work.

Life is difficult, but there is room for lightness, pleasure, joy in it. Take everything from life, use all the opportunities that it gives.

Many people start and quit meditation because they are waiting for a certain state. Almost euphoria, enlightenment. Moreover, the first time!

But, meditation is practice. Purposeful activity. As you practice meditation, observe your day, the changes in this day and in your life.

Let's summarize briefly … With the help of meditation, you can develop spiritually, as well as learn to manage your life. To change your life with your consciousness, you need to start by developing the ability to manage your emotional state (self-regulation). Self-regulation begins with the practice of relaxation and concentration. And only then will you be able to make changes in your life through meditation. You do purposeful meditation and watch how what was in your meditation manifests itself in your real life.

Interest in meditation is growing for a reason. Meditation skills will help you become the magician of your life. With regular practice, it will become a resource part of your life, giving pleasant sensations, a state of calmness, inspiration and strength.
